Yeah, this is the first time I did a full on DJ set. A lot of things need work (transitions and volume is one example), but it was a lot of fun regardless.

On a more personal note: When I first started DJing, getting into Dischead Jockeys has always been my goal. It's been a year since I got into this hobby, which isn't too long the more I think about it. But the fact that I'm finally able to get this opportunity means a lot to me, and in many ways still feel surreal.

With that in mind, I want to thank kyllian1212 and the entire Madeoncord for organizing this event and inviting me to play for it. The purpose of this set was to see if I can improv from beginning to end, so I literally had nothing planned and just relied on the flow. It's also worth noting that when I was doing this set, I was also streaming on another app, which also kind of meant I couldn't stop recording at any moment. There are a lot of songs in here that I've used from past sets however, but there are some new songs I found and decided to play here as well.

message: "Hello again! This is the LO-SEE System! Recently, the Madeon Fan Community Discord Server held their first ever Minimix contest, where you have to create a mix that lasts between 4 to 5 minutes and 30 seconds. Naturally, I wanted to participate, especially considering my past experiences creating a minimix on my own which was never released due to a copyright strike. So in a way, this served as my "redemption arc."

The set ended up landing 15th place out of 22 contestants, which I won't lie I kind of expected. I know I'm going to sound salty when I say this, but I didn't go into this expecting to win with the best minimix imaginable. Rather I went into this to have fun and to show a sampler platter of the kind of music I am into and looking for.

Regardless, making the set was a lot of fun, not perfect by any means, but I feel it gives off just the right amount of energy. To kyllian1212 and the entire Madeoncord, I want to say thank you for putting together this contest. It was a blast listening to all the other contestants during the voting process. There's some really great mixes on there!

I hope to take part in another one of these contests in the future. Until then, take care!"
