What an incredibly epic celebration of love! I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to share this set at Brittany and Glen's wedding [after 40 of us BASE jumped down from the ceremony!]. Nearly 2 hours of funky house and 90s mashups - I had so much fun grooving with you all!! SO. MUCH. LOVE.

Galactic Circus Opening Ceremony

Everyone can use a little more arroz con pollo in their life. Those yummy vibes of latin hospitality and a big ass hug. This set will warm your soul and raise your vibe with some latin house flava (and some 50 cent acapellas for my Dad). 

I had so much fun throwing down with my homies in Costa Rica. Partying under the stars in the middle of 16 acres of jungle - it was such an epic and magical night! This praying mantis helped me out for a while towards the end of the night <3

Arroz con pollo - that latin house flava

It was such an honor to close out the night at Gateway Getdown! Gateway is definitely one of my favorite places on the planet - it has this magical wild west energy which inspired some deep electrosoul and rock-n-roll remixes. This set starts with some high-energy dance house and then transitions to some deep electrosoul a half-hour in. Thank you to everyone who stayed up and shared your energy with me during my set - I really felt it <3 It was so special to share this with you!

Electrosoul Getdown: Gateway Getdown '22

Two hours of bass house and funk with the occasional 90's hip hop remix. I had such an incredibly fun time performing this set 4 nights in a row! Thank you so much to my crew in SLC who invited me to share this set twice, Anthony Motto for inviting me to perform at Galactivate, and Redfoot for letting me share this at your silent disco party in Moab!! It seriously got more fun every time! I met so many beautiful people, shared so many hugs, and laughed more than I have in a while. I've been embracing spontaneous creativity more and more, breaking through self-doubt, and awakening my divine feminine.

Galactifunk

DJing on a raft while floating the Colorado River with my best friends is probably the raddest DJ experience I'll ever have. This set takes you on the journey - a mix of progressive house and dance house with global beats weaved in throughout.

Floating Beats: Floating Man '22 Day 2

The first day of floating man was nothing short of EPIC. Right around minute 62 when I started playing "Gotta Push On" by Griz, the lowest bpm song of the set, a powerful storm blew through. Winds gusted so hard, SUP boards were rolling down the beach! Well, we Pushed On and raged even harder! With one hand on my laptop screen to prevent it from blowing over, I got to finish the whole set...and not a minute after I was done it started pouring rain and we took cover. What a blast!

Note: I played this set the same weekend as the SDU SIS boogie, so they are very similar - this one is a tad lighter.

Storming Man: Floating Man '22 Day 1

I originally put this set together for my bestie's wedding reception, but I'm stoked to have had the opportunity to share this set at Moab Skydive Boogie and Chicks Rock as well. Thanks Kelsey for inspiring such a badass set of booty-shaking funk, house, and grime <3 The funnest set I've put together so far!

Booty Funk Bump & Grime

Creating this sunrise set was a welcome and refreshing change from my typical high-energy funk jams. I loved working through the journey from dark to light - starting expansive and bassy and moving towards progressive and melodic 🌈✨ Thank you to everyone who danced through the night and called in the sunrise with me! Thank you Desert Soul Collective for putting together the most epic and meaningful Halloween Party I have ever been to.

Sunrise Spirit Play

I wish there were words to describe this experience. “Exhilarating” is the word that keeps coming to mind. It was an explosion of love. I was so nervous to perform the sax solo at 1:06 since I had just picked up the sax a month before, but as soon as I stepped out in front of the DJ booth I was met with so much love... it didn't even matter what happened next. And from there I just let loose. I felt the power of everyone's love radiating toward me, it channeled through my body and out the sax. Thank you so much to everyone who shared their love and light with me during this set - it is infused into its vibrations.

I am so grateful for the support of my love Ryan Zwicker who took over the decks while I ripped the sax. He only started learning Ableton a few weeks before that and totally nailed the transitions. Being able to collaborate together was pure magic.

It wouldn't be Turkey Boogie without Jimmy and Marta, so the set kicks off with a few words from Jimmy, taken from a hilarious video of him shocking Mick Knutson with some kind of taser(?). And then Marta says hi at 1:03:38. Thank you Jay Epstein for those clips!

If there is one thing I've learned from BASE jumping, it is to appreciate every single moment and to be nothing less than the full authentic expression of myself. I have so much gratitude for this beautiful community for giving me a platform to shine.

Retrograde Rodeo - Turkey Boogie 2022

A powerful mix of bass house and dubstep with an intense emotional release. 

I performed this set at a private event called DCIM and at Building Wo-Man. Both were incredible experiences. 

At DCIM, a couple of hours before this moment, we shared an Inspiration Hour - a space of vulnerability where anyone could share an inspirational thought, emotion, poem, song, story, etc. and they would be seen, heard, and held. It was a beautiful heart-opening exercise. 

I’ll never forget the energy that night - so much was released and celebrated on the dance floor.  I had to consciously use my breath to move and shift the energy throughout my body. Everyone brought their light and in the process of channeling that light, my heart opened. I felt seen, heard, and held in return.

At Building Wo-Man, I actually got confirmed to play earlier that day. It was Ryan's birthday and we decided to collab for part of the set - he DJed while I played sax. It was absolutely EPIC! Playing in the solar powered flying saucer was 🛸🤯

Big Bass House Heart Beats - DCIM/Building Man '23

Getting the party started at the 4th Annual Women's Gathering! During this beautiful event, over 60 ladies gathered in the Moab Backcountry to celebrate, dance, hold space, teach, learn, support, play and have fun :) I'm so proud of Faye for putting on such a lovely event! This was my first experience at an intentional, women's only event and I was pleasantly surprised at how free and comfortable I felt. I didn't realize how much we are influenced by the presence of the masculine energy. 

I embraced the divine feminine with this more relaxed and playful set. It starts with some funk/nudisco, travels into electrosoul with some 90s rap, and finishes out with more driving and melodic house.

Bad Alien Bitches - Moab Women's Gathering 2023

It was such a beautiful experience to combine my passion for both music and energy work in this therapeutic ecstatic dance set. This set was inspired by the rebirth of Spring 🦋💐🪻and the element of water 💦. 

What came through was quite an emotional journey. Starting with shamanic beats and moving through to darker progressive house to summon energy that is ready to be released and transmuted (also representing the darkness of Winter). Then,  the song Georgia by LP Giobbi provides an emotional release and turning point as the set progresses into melodic and heart-filling house and finally restorative music to calm and nourish the soul. This emotional flow represents the transition into Spring.

Ecstatic Dance: Flowing into Spring

I had so much fun buggin' out with my Cicadia family at Element 11 this year! My first regional burn was a powerful experience and an opportunity to let go of my fears of the unknown. During the burn, the message that I received loud and clear was "Lean into the unknown and play with it!". This set plays with the vibe - from funky to house to dubstep and back, reminding you to embrace playfulness on your journey :)

Bugged out Funk: Camp Cicadia Element 11

This set was originally put together during the summer solstice for Utah's regional burn (Element 11) and then further developed for a retreat that I lead in Costa Rica. 

It is inspired by the summer solstice energy. To me, the solstice energy is wild! It represents a peak energy of the year. Mirroring that energy, the set is pretty chaotic and runs through the range of emotions from dark and stormy to funky and happy. 

It is a metaphor for acknowledging and embracing the craziness, instead of running away from it. Dance with the chaos! Ride the vibratory wave of emotion!

Funny enough, when we start dancing and playing with emotions, their intensity begins to back off and they give us space. I love how ecstatic dance gives us an opportunity to move through emotions through dance and play - healing doesn't have to be so heavy all the time :)

Ecstatic Dance: Dancing with Summer Chaos

This set was intended for right after we burned the man - while the burn was delayed, our Booty Worship tribe decided to throw down anyway. WOW what a party!! I was incredibly impressed by everyone's sets that night. The vibe was transformative. It felt like we burned the man through our music and our dance moves - energy was transmuted that night. 

My intention for Burning Man was to remember who I am at the deepest level and to let that version of me really express herself. I decided at a young age to adapt my personality to receive love and affection, and ended up forgetting my authenticity - the weird, playful, quirky, creative gifts that I came to this planet with. I really tried to embody the most authentic part of me in this set. It carries the energy of soul remembrance.

Shine your Inner Funk - Burning Man 2023, Booty Worship

Unison was such a gift after Burning Man and is the most meaningful festival that I have ever been a part of. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to perform at such a conscious, high-vibe gathering. It was really cool to see the intersection of music and spirituality. 

I attended the closing ceremony where I was introduced to the powerful women and indigenous elders who held sacred space during the event, as well as learned more about the intention behind the event - of truly unifying the collective to raise consciousness and support the shift our planet is experiencing. 

I loved hearing about all of the little details - from the four altars representing earth, wind, water, and fire; to the sacred fire keepers, to the indigenous elders who shared their wisdom throughout the weekend...and so much more. 

This set was inspired by Unison's mission. It is a mix of shamanic music, progressive house, indie dance, and afrohouse.

Unison Vibes 2023

In loving memory and celebration of Reed Smith. 

Putting this set together for Reed's Celebration of Life was a journey. I put off working on it for a while because I wasn't quite there yet - I wasn't ready to celebrate. When I finally started to put the playlist together, I sifted through his most recent Spotify playlists and recommendations sent over from friends of songs that reminded them of him - the grief process was accelerated and took me on a ride. 

Tears of loss, but then laughter at the silly ridiculousness and eclectic collage of seemingly unrelated songs. Reed's library was perfectly reflective of who he is. Real. Unapologetic. Bodly authentic. Pure human expression. They are songs that make you feel something - whether that be Lane 8's melodic and moving beats, Cindy Lauper's totally cornball 'Time after Time', cumbia songs representing his self-identified Mexican heritage, or gangsta rap that was raw and intense. All of these songs, in no particular order - just there in a chaotic pile of emotions. An expression of human life. 

So many of us bounce between hiding from our emotions and trying to make sense of them - Reed just felt them, all of them. Expressed them boldly. Accepted the chaos, or rather embraced the chaos, of what it means to be human.

Of all emotions, Reed is love. He reminds us of the power of unconditional compassion. Loving from a place of authenticity. Of unapologetically wearing your heart on your sleeve. That being compassionate actually means being true to yourself and others - allowing others to see their truth.

On the days that I worked on this set, I sat and meditated with Reed. I asked for his support and for him to speak through me. Sometimes we felt so connected and chatted back and forth. One time I asked for him to give me a song, and he gave me the song "World of Colors" at minute 85. I thanked him and asked for another, and he remixed Cindy Lauper's "Time After Time" over it. I laughed and went to my computer to try it out - they were in the exact same key! Reed had been working with me throughout the process - I'd get chills when he wanted a song in the set. It is eclectic, meaningful, ridiculous, and full of love. 

Love you so much Reed <3 I look forward to more of these moments when we connect through the veils and for all the magic we create.

Every year, this beautiful group of souls celebrates friendship and connection through an epic weekend of adventure, music, and wellness. The dedication of everyone to this gathering, combined with their openness and acceptance, inspired me to really push myself and go all out - bringing nearly every instrument in the closet! Thanks so much for including me and inspiring me to dig deeper into my authentic expression <3

Bassventure: DCIM 2024

What a special moment. When I went to Building Wo-Man last year, I saw Dirtwire for the first time. The energy they created through playing their various eclectic instruments was incredible - it was fire. It was dragon energy. They transmuted darkness into light. 

This year, Building Wo-man invited me to perform on mainstage and I had an opportunity to channel my inspiration from Dirtwire - I brought my keyboard, sax, bass clarinet, and e-drumset! It was insane! 

I also brought that same intention of transmuting darkness into light. The astrological energies have been pushing us recently to confront truths that we have been ignoring. To confront shadows that we haven't wanted to see. Massive healing shifts are occurring and it has been hard. Personally, my chronic fatigue flared up and I've been struggling with my focus and energy. 

This set embodies the energy of pushing through the darkness in the support of community. Having the opportunity to channel the magic and love of this community was a true honor that I am so grateful for. Thank you!

Bringing in the Light: Building Wo-Man 2024 Sunrise

Throwing down on the Pariah before Megan Hamilton and Maddy O'Neal was an absolute DREAM. Two of my inspirations and total badasses. There is a special flavor of magic at PlanetV that is like no other festival. It is small and intimate and the perfect environment for connecting with other beautiful humans. Coming back this year literally felt like I was going back to summer camp and couldn't wait to see my friends! 

I dedicated this set to my grandma, who passed away a few weeks prior. I know she was there dancing with me.

Funk Magic: PlanetV 2024

Durango! Y'all have my heart. I think that was the most fun I have ever had. I've never felt so connected to everyone while performing - it was such a collective experience. On top of that, I got to be direct support for SunSquabi 🤩 who totally crushed. When I caught up with Eugene, who manages the Animas Theatre, he said something to the tune of, "with everything going on in the world, I just want a place where people feel safe expressing themselves".  Well that atmosphere of openness and acceptance encouraged me to really dig deep in expressing myself - parts of me I didn't know were there. Then the crowd responded favorably, and then I went even deeper. It was an echo chamber of stoke and wild expression.

More and more my sets have felt like channelled somatic journeys both for my own soul expression and for the collectives. Being a highly sensitive empath - I feel so much, all the time, and so deeply. I believe some of us are this way because part of our souls purpose is to feel - because when we feel, we heal. If we are able to access and feel things that generations before us could not, then the generations after us don't have to. 
Having the opportunity to apply music and somatic movement help to transmute and shift e-motion (energy-in-motion) is something I am really grateful for. I mean if we are going to feel all this sh*t, we might as well do it together and shake our booty patoodies off while doing it!

Soul Shine - Animas Theatre, Durango

While I've never played a 330am slot time before, it was actually perfect to express the journey I've been on. Breaking through darkness, meeting the void, and connecting with myself again.

This set carries frequencies of deep liberation and healing. It starts with deep high energy bass house, reaches a cathartic moment, transitions to afrohouse, and ends on a very yummy melodic note.

A lot of afro beats throughout the set calling in ancestral healing. My cousin @ryanwallis100 is actually a producer/DJ in South Africa and totally hooked it up with some amazing Afrohouse tracks 🙏 thanks cuz🙏

I even changed outfits to signify the shedding of my old self and connection to the deeper me. It is the year of the snake after all and that's my year!

Metamorphosis 🦋 Building Man 2025

Sunset on the Nudibranch Art Car on Thursday night was an absolute dream. Thank you so much to everyone who joined me, and shared their good vibes and positive energy. It had been quite the journey to get to E11 - I'd been healing deep wounds from a recent separation. These tracks helped heal me and it was humbling to share those with you and to celebrate the journey. On top of that, I got to do so on the art car that I helped my ex-partner bring to life. As he drove me around the playa, and the sun was setting, and everyone was dancing with me, I thought how beautiful it was that we still were able to create beautiful memories together.

Sunset Dreams - E11 2025, Nudibranch Art Car

OMG what an absolute blast - this is one of my favorite sets I have ever played. Between the epic wind storm and Molly and Joe's wedding, the energy of this set is one of rebellious love. Love that transcends chaos. Beyond love with a partner or any being, this is the resilient love that is always there.

Thanks so much to all of the bugs that held it down through the epic wind storm - our camp never skipped a beat. Thanks to Molly and Joe for reminding us the power of love. Thanks to everyone who got down with me and shared their love with me during my set. 

Rebellious Love - E11 2025, Cicadia

Boy did we get into some funky business at Eleven a couple weeks ago! Opening for High Step Society was SO FUN and ridiculous! We sold out and the upstairs was totally packed! 

Check out this set if you feel like getting groovy. A handful of these tracks were inspired by a magical jam I had with Jonco while he was DJing in the dust at E11. Something clicked in the playfulness and spontaneity of that jam and I unlocked new sax improv powers.

Funky Business - Opening for High Step Society - Echelon 6/27/25

Unision!! Woowwww what an absolute gift. I don't think I have happy-cried so much in one weekend. I felt like myself for the first time in 18 months. So much magic happened - including the birth of this beautiful collab with my friends Tanner Forest (Ximer) and Morgan Nilson (Mayvn).

This set reflects the journey of returning to self. Its a dynamic journey ranging from deep electrosoul and heavy bass to afrohouse and uplifting global beats.

There are times in life when the universe shakes the snow globe - and I had been deep in one of those times. All the sudden I lost my sense of self, my dignity, my self worth...I felt so distant from my friends...it was all very confusing. I was immersed in the void. Lost. 

So I decided to take a two-month pause from social media and DJing. I traveled to New York and Costa Rica to surround myself with my family and people who knew me on a very deep level. At Unison, I was reunited with my Moab family and my roommates whom I lived with. All of these beautiful souls recognized me on a deep level and reflected back who I was. They reflected back so much love and care and abundance that my little heart could no longer hold onto the stories I was telling myself. 

As I performed this set - I felt everything solidify. I was right where I needed to be. I was brought back to Unison.

I'll need more time but I fee like I've reached a turning point and received the clarity I needed to set the healing process in motion.
