Sunny Day at the Beach (Silent Disco May 22/22 Live Recording)

The rain was pouring down and not a soul could be seen at the stage.    Slowly, they emerged, looking a little wet and a lot tired.  I made it up onto the stage scaffolding and team members started trying to get the generator working.  I was living on infinite patience and low expectations and it worked for me.  I wiped down their rain spattered mixer and allowed myself to enjoy the moment.  It made me smile.  

The generator (their second one?) started humming and a thumbs up appeared!  I pressed record and it all started.  The rain dissipated and the sun started shinning!  The beats and the sunbeams brought the people out to the stage and it happened!  It was such an honour to start the vibe at Ironic Spin.

How lucky I am to share music in the beautiful space with the beautiful people at The Really Lost Penguins?  Not only did they have the best homemade ginger whisky bevy, they also had the best smiles and sweet friendliness to match.  THANK You Really Lost Penguins!  

This set was intended to be fun, entice people to remove their shoes and venture into the "ice igloo."  I hope you have as much fun dancing to this as I did playing it out.

At long last, there was a warm summer evening and it was beautiful.

After a week of rain, I was feeling a bit summer sassy and incorporated that feeling into the dance.  Hopefully it has the right amount of sass  and all the other feelings for you.  

The ecstatic wave begins with a beautiful downtempo track, slowly moves into "the sass" and ends with cherished (by me) spiritual songs and stillness.

Warm Evening at the Beach (Silent Disco July 9/22 Live Recording)

A week full of emotions led me to curate an emotional mix, reflecting my contemplative state of mind.  Working through my emotions starts with instrumental inspired electronica downtempo 102 bpm vibes and moves into "a take off into the night" midtempo 120 bpms vibes.  From here, @TRiiKSTR did a beautiful job taking over the soundscape for the rest of the night.

A celebration of 5 birthdays in October was just the right opportunity to play some psytechno and psytrance.  I had so much fun playing this!  I kept saying, "It's time to tickle our mental energy fields!"  I hope it worked and will work for you too.  Music is such good medicine!

For the Sunday Wonderment-at-Night, Footwork Entertainment put together a stellar night of music and dancing, full of good vibes and high energy.  With the RIGHTEOUS RAINBOWS OF TOGETHERNESS (LIVE) headlining, it was an honour to share the bill with them and all the amazing, legendary DJs.

This set is a slow build, including deep and dub techno and some good feeling house vibes.  Löblová curated this one specially for and in honour of the Wonderment Festival - one of Victoria's finest annual events of the year.

As always, every track offers something that inspires, just the way Löblová likes it.

Wonderment-at-Night (Aug 6 23)

Revel 2023 stood up to it's definition.  From start to finish, it was an absolutely beautiful festival, a delight to attend, held on beautiful land next to a stunning river.

It was an honour to play this 2 hour set right next to the river.  Knowing this event included so many different genres, I felt so much freedom to include a few gems that just don't fit house music parties.  What a treat to feel so free!  My intention was to bring joy and offer music that inspires me and hopefully inspires you too.  I normally have a rule where I never play the same track out more than once, but this time I included a precious handful I've played out previously throughout this last year. Can you recognize them?  :)

Watch out for Revel 2024, as this one will only grow.

Saturday Evening Social Holidy Edition

Open:ended's annual Winter Solstice is always a spectacular show, with extremely talented performers and dj's.  This year blew me away again.  I danced with abandon while feeling immersed in an inclusive and supportive crowd.

Open:ended - Winter Solstice 2023

Here's a little (imperfect) extended practice session for the Rhythm Revolt.  This is my first deep dive into breakbeat and breaks.  These are genres I love to dance to, but have yet to pull a set together, until now!  Ummmmmnnn.. now I'm hooked.

Last year, an event organizer asked me to play some dub and deep techno and I fell in love with the sounds.  This time, the quest for some broken beats has sent me down another extremely pleasing sonic journey.

Oh genres of many sorts, I love you up.

I had the awesome opportunity to open for Neon Steve about a year ago.  It was my FIRST time playing out on CDJs.  Would he have let me have a go if he knew? < insert little angel face here >. Neon Steve's April 12th Opener Contest

As a DJ, 4/4 is Löblová 's usual way to play. Like any good lover of the multi-genres and just after playing her DnB debut, the polyrhythms aren't letting go (at least at this minute). Saturday Social (Dec 14, 2024)

I never met my Grandmother. She was a musician, master piano player and opera singer. Her favourite music to play at home was Hawaiian. She was 4 foot 11 and her first language was very obscure and nearly extinct now. I feel her influence through the ether, guiding me towards all the rhythms. 

Music for me is not just beats and sounds, it's the rhythms of life, of healing, of process, of inspiration and evolution. When I immerse myself into digging for music, I am guided towards all the rhythms, sometimes feeling into what is popular and other times digging for the obscure - noticing when the music speaks to my gut and find myself moving and flowing with the groove.

Finding and sharing music is an amazing honour and a cherished passion. Thank you for allowing me to share music with you.

Revel Festival (https://soundcloud.com/revelfest) is an incredible boutique festival, nestled between mountains, beside the Silmikinmen River. This was Revel's 4th year and Löblová's 3rd year attending and playing for this special crowd of seasoned festival goers.

Revel 2025 (live set recording)

Every track in this mini mix inspires me. For every hour of digging, I might find one that makes me giddy. Imagine those first few seconds after pressing play, as the smile grows across my face, fingers and toes start tapping and I yelp, "Nice!" Sharing these soul touching tracks nourishes me and playing them out brings me pure delight.

Her inspiration spans a multitude of genres, including downtempo, afro/deep/organic/melodic house, techno, trance, deep & dub techno, as well as a newfound passion for UKG, breakbeat and drum & bass. With over two decades of experience dancing in West Coast communities, Löblová, tailors each sound journey to align with the theme and energy of the event, ensuring that every performance resonates with the audience. Her excitement for sharing music is contagious, and her aim is simple: to play what feels good, creating an atmosphere where everyone can feel uplifted and connected through the power of sound.
