Mörk finally hits a mighty ten releases, continuing our journey into the depths with a cauldron of cavernous dub techno from US delay-hound, Jon Fay. 

Despite being Fay's production debut, Untitled is a truly remarkable masterpiece, an explorative and other-worldly journey into the nocturnal side of dub techno. Natural landscapes; caves, woods, mountains and ocean ridges, open up amid the ever shifting seismic production all hinged on the tweaking of a single effect, but one which has the sheer capacity to launch souls into interstellar space. 

Opener 1271 is built on a layers of cycling, swirling drones, noise and rasping hiss, with an epic spoken word punctuating the mid section of the track before the colliding and clattering over-saturated delay really takes off. Over-reflecting in it's own endless chamber. 

MKV drops the tempo for a lowest-ever-slung techno rider. Steadily coasting off the back of more time-shifting delay patterns while being slowly enveloped in a sea of warm, salted pads. 

Infused with a lonely and occasionally isolated feeling of separation, Untitled bumps along with more of Fay's signature crisp sound design while meddling with suddenly emerging melodies and crashes in the dark. Almost entirely breaking down via the knackered CPU halfway through. 

Ending on a purely ambiguous note, loop-ambient jam Untitled 2 was made from looping the sound of dust on a vinyl record, set up so that each pop and scratch would trigger a variety of muffled, cavernous, mind delay overloaded samples. Like being turned to sand and swept up into an all-engulfing storm. One for the serious space cadet.

The fourth series of 'Silent Movie Sounds' opens with beautiful house tune by Nemanja Krstic, producer of the memorable track 'Novi Beograd' on the ninth 'My Love Is Underground' release. Queen of Deep House, Lady Blacktronika also features on A side with a slow jam with Japanese influence. Speaking of the Land of the Rising Sun, opening the B side of RHR 012 is Yoshiki Tsuchiya aka Miruga, who already was part of the label on RHR 006 with his compatriots. Seal Bient, producer from Yekaterinburg makes his vinyl debut with the mesmerizing track 'Slavery'.

R&S Records return with a supreme slice of techno from renowned Belgium producer Fabrice Lig with a stunning remix from R&S new signing Space Dimension Controller. . On remix duty is R&S new signing Space Dimension Controller (AKA 20 year old Belfast based producer Jack Hamill). This young analogue freak is equally influenced equal parts by Model 500, Zapp, Aphex Twin and Drexciya (a perfect combination for an R&S artist). His take of Digital Forest takes it down a deeper, lush, funkier route that perfectly compliments the original.

Evidence Found No​.​1 is an Anniversary compilation curated by the London Based label Little Beat Different. Featuring the likes of “Dempa” and “Regular Customer” as well as some found favorites, this compilation is driven by a powerful roster. One of the most notable tracks, “Break & Enter III” by Varum, exhibits a particularly authentic tone. Hailing from Leipzig, Germany, Varum has crafted a unique sound; blurring the lines between lo-fi house and techno.

The first noticeable thing about “Break & Enter III” is its organic textures and raw aesthetic. Varumʼs dark and gritty formula fuses a tight breakbeat pattern with lush and spacious pads, which creates an oddly nostalgic atmosphere. The 7- minute track meshes multiple motifs, each section carrying a slight variation of the main melody, which reads as somewhat of mini-mix. Aside from the songs structure, the production is top notch. The breakbeatʼs muted Hi hats and snares provide a stark and clever contrast to the glistening synths. “Break & Enter III” is a breath of fresh air when compared to todays polished EDM tracks, and will provide the perfect, fierce, crescendo for a set-closing track.

‘Defective’, is a seven minute ritualistic trip where Cabasa brings together a vocal snippet of Zeta 3’s 1991 debut album, warped Kpanlogo drum samples, boomy kicks, and snappy hats joined by vocal samples samples which sound like taken from an African ritual.

Tanzbar Records is the perfect fuel for the discerning DJ - limited vinyl releases that deliver big sounds in a tasteful manner. This forthcoming Tanzbar release from Far Out Radio Systems is no different. Two tracks designed for big rooms, paired with two IDM productions, but all carry that charateristic soul of FORS tracks, tough drums and emotive, careful synth programming. “Muskoxen” is just that - calm, reassuring pads sit over bubbling drums somewhere north of 170 bpm.
