DJ FL1P has set himself apart through both music and style. Started in the late nineties as a result of an instant comfort felt by a handful of DJs within a small but growing scene in the city. Upon his inception, Year 2000 it boasts Bacolod's (Philippines) most successful hip-hop and rhythm and blues residency. In 2006 (Alberta Canada) He Started playing on Fridays and Saturdays, first at “LAVA ULTRA LOUNGE” (his playground) then after at PLAZA NIGHT CLUB resident. It's a night that has seen his fortunes rise to a level unmatched by others, attracting a regular clientele as well as visiting representatives all over Alberta's jetset.

In the meantime, FL1P began entering DJ competitions, His prize accomplishment came in 2007, when he won the Local MashUps competition. Soon after, the 1st placer began to set his sights back to his love of spinning music for the crowds. FL1P credits introduce him to some of the Alberta's most respected DJ's. 2010 was a big year for FL1P as he was nominated in an outstanding 2 different categories at the STYLUS DJ Awards. Including Club DJ Of The Year and DJ Mixtape of the Year. Local Promoters began to take notice, In addition to weekly appearances. FL1P is also responsible for some of the city's hottest specialty parties including the numerous concert promotions and long weekend parties. The Long Weekend Editions are the stuff of legend, successfully blending a cosmopolitan mix within an unmatched Urban, Party Rock, House, MashUps, Indie to Old School Hip-Hop, Reggae and Soca environment. Witness and feel the vibe entertain and diverting oneself into the reverberation of mash-ups tracks, house and state of the art rnb and hip-hop expression of emotion. 


FL1P's career allowed him to open up for big artist and DJs such as DJ JAM (Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre DJ), FLO RIDA, GIRLICIOUS, DJ SPRYTE, DJ PREMIER, DJ DOC, 4KORNERS, LMFAO, URBAN METROPOLIS DJs, DJ STARTING FROM SCRATCH, DJ VICE, MINISTRY OF SOUND, KARDINAL OFFISHALL, JUMP SMOKERS with DJ FLIPSIDE, GIRLTALK, DJ FRESH, DRUM N DJ, DJ MIA + More and also work and jam with many of the local DJs and Artist. 

FL1P has rocked the stages of some of the hottest clubs in Alberta to B.C. His sets and skills are all part of his unique ability at giving crowds a fist-pumping experience.
