Local Bytes's kicks off its guest series with Episode 3 welcoming Dublin-based duo Waximum to the studio, for a 2-hour vinyl house special!

The duo are known for their deep and groovy house sound and know exactly how to get the floor moving. Spinning wax for the better part of 10 years, the pair are heavily influenced by Kerri Chandler, Ian Pooley, St. Germain and HNNY.

Part 1 of the show was hosted by the talented Surka for Episode 4 of Local Bytes! 

Surka has made a name for herself in the club and festival scene over the last few months, having showcased her DJing at a range of events across the country. She left her mark in the festival circuit with high energy sets at Otherside, Indiependence and EP. Now a resident of Reclaim the Mainframe, she has played in numerous venues across Dublin for Slither, Sense and Omni to name a few. She is also a regular in Izakaya’s basement for all night sets. DDR & FourFour have showcased her mixes. Her ability to bounce between genres such as house , progressive , trance and electro combined with her sleek mixing technique ensure that the crowd never stops moving.

We had an amazing time hosting him at the Phever studio earlier this month, delivering a stellar hour of house grooves. Niall’s sets are known for their technical excellence and seamless track blending, guiding listeners through an ever-evolving rhythm. With consistent production and performances nationwide and abroad, his tracks even caught the attention of VTSS, who featured his track ‘The Dream Team’ in her 2023 festival sets at Dekmantel, Sziget & Brunch Elecktonik Barcelona.
