Wandering through the trees she was wild and free to her own devices, in the forest she could whatever she pleased and whatever she liked. As the sun began to set the light grew fainter and softer between the branches of the old woodland - soon it would be time to retreat for the evening and settle down by the comfort of a fire. She was a free spirit, at one with the wild and as dazzling as they come. She was pure, reckless and simple in her means but that was the way of life when one leaves home forever. 

Retromigration is set to release a new EP on Wolf Music, an imprint which never fails to disappoint and has grown from strength to strength. Once a low key series of parties, now a multi faceted record label - this is an EP which emphasises just how far they've come.

When Henrik Schwarz heard the music from Johannes Brecht he knew now was the time to reactivate his label SUNDAY-MUSIC again that hasnt released a record in quite a while now. Johannes is a wonderful musician that plays bass and keyboards and also writes music for orchestra. When a classically trained musician looks into electronic music and manages to bring together the best of both worlds the result can be very exciting. On this EP are 3 tracks that show his versatility and musicality. HOLLA is a beautiful deep monster with one of those touching synth lines that you dont want to ever stop, PEOPLE is a jacking house track that bursts of energy and BOB shows that Johannes also can leave his fingerprint in a more minimalistic environment.

Not one to revel too much in the limelight, Johannes Brecht prefers to ply his trade in the shadows - fitting for his oceandeep productions. Having previously made appearances on the boogie fantastic label Star Creature, Jehan steps up and delivers an EP full of deliciously bouncy, disco & jazz influenced riddims. 'Popcorn' is a plump little number, with smooth Rhodes and warm bass guitar skipping along to the swung-as-hell drums. But its those huge filtered synth chords that make the track when they drop. Oosshh
