Juan Gabriel was an instrumental part of my upbringing, as I can imagine he was also that for countless others. He was there through the good, the bad and the ugly. Many identified with his tunes whether we were feeling happy or completely heartbroken. Few artists will ever be able to make connections through music they way he has. We have lost a great poet, musician and friend (in our head at least lol) but we will always have a bit of his magic through his music...
