What's It Like In Space?

I decided to download the instrumental midi track of Let It Go from Frozen and make it sound all cute and 8-bit-like. I literally did this in ten minutes but it's cute and I never upload anything here so hey!

Let It Go Into Reason and Be Fucked With

In Music Comp we were given an hour to make a complete composition, and I thought mine was gonna suck completely but I actually like it. I'd love to write more to this and record it with real guitar, trombone and drums one day.

A bunch of bands put out a bunch of Green Day covers that I hate. This may not sound any better, but I love Green Day and this is my go-to uke song so I figured I'd share!

I really want to go to #OrangeCon in NYC to celebrate the 3rd season of Orange Is The New Black - and this gave me an excuse to finally record that cover of O'Neill's Nun Song that I've wanted to make for a year now. It was a total rush job recording in my laptop microphone so the quality isn't great at all - but submissions end today so I gave it the ol' punk rock try. Enjoy!

The instrumental version of my Music Tech soundscape project, without any external sounds on it. I did however leave the footsteps in there, because I accidentally put an effect on it in Guitar Rig 3 and it sounded really cool. This is my favorite version :)

IF YOU LISTEN TO THIS THROUGH LAPTOP SPEAKERS YOU'LL HATE IT I PROMISE YOU THAT. Okay I don't really hate dance music, but when given the project of making "dance music" I sort of froze up. I had this whole other thing which I'll probably post eventually when I finish it, it's and orchestral and cool and then I realized that it wasn't DANCE. So I made this. I have mixed feelings on it, not sure if I love it or hate it but it's better than I thought it was gonna be and I worked really hard on it. I call it Questionable Jubilance because at parts it sounds celebratory but it's in a kind of uncertain way and I like that.

This is a track I created in CAT 107 that I never uploaded until now, but with upcoming portfolio reviews I decided to fix it up and upload it! It's not great but it was my first ever experiementation with a midi program and creating a song in ProTools, so I think it's cool to see my first ever project.

Maestro's Sorrow

Basically, I'm scoring for my first animation, one we're required to do for Digital Media class. This is a small simple sample of the first 30 seconds or so, just a calm underwater kinda somber thing going on. Simple is the key word, I just really like how the sounds came together and this is more for personal reference than anything. :) BTW the name is because of the cue where the song ends, hahah.

I had to create a song for Digital Audio Engineering, and recycled through a million half done ideas before deciding to start from scratch and say fuck it. I plan on expanding on this, adding a lot more to it and probably writing words for it. It's called Fragile Bodies because as I was writing it I started thinking of how crazy it is that the human body is such a complex, well oiled machine but something as trivial as emotion, nostalgia, nervousness or romanticism can affect it so much more than physical elements such as smoke and other toxins can. But yeah, it's not done. It's just "class ready". Enjoy. :)

I had 30 mins before therapy and figured I'd download a karaoke track of Lizzo's Jerome and try to sing over it one time after singing it in my car 100000000 million times and just keep whatever the result was. Hope you enjoy!

PS: at the end they just decided to add some weird backup vocals, so the last "Don't cry for me baby" is me singing with this mystery woman and then she makes a sound at the end that isn't me. Other than that, it's allllllllll naturale baby
