Dj 4Never, never, ever - Mixing stuff behind the decks or behind the scenes in LPZ, always with a dedication to dance music in all its varieties. Back in the days he rooted his interest in music through listening to 1live Radio and evolved that interest into his very own radio project called Callshop Radio Leipzig. As an organizer and curator of Callshop Radio he´s aiming to represent Leipzigs diverse sub- and clubculture since June 2019. Today´s podcast is the live recording of his set he played back in July at the PVC Open Air at Pittlerwerke. A warm and straying mix of breaks and acid chords that tries to makes us forget about the dark days ahead. Enjoy ❤️

Miri Malek is an Iranian-Scottish DJ/producer. After many years of sonic rambling, they have found their way back to bass music with renewed passion and are focused on sharing this sound with the queer community in Berlin. Key influences for them are UK breaks producers/labels, as well as gravitating towards percussive-heavy tracks from producers around the world, joining the dots together in a playful, raw, and emotionally-charged tapestry of sounds.

"I recorded this during an especially joyful moment of my life and I think this comes through in the mix. It's a balance of rebellious/skanky/emotional energy from beginning to end. There's a focus on playful rhythms and contorted textures, and I included a lot of tracks from producers that are ongoing inspirations for me, as well as hidden gems that deserve more listening time."
