Over the last ten years, Gumm graduated from being an active promoter hosting renegade parties in obscure public spaces to performing at Melbourne's biggest festivals, including Let Them Eat Cake, Pitch Music & Arts and smalltown. As co-founder of Melbourne brand Darklove, he hosted international acts The Drifter and Damon Jee to go with regular bookings supporting Maceo Plex, DJ Koze, Jennifer Cardini, Stephan Bodzin, Job Jobse, Ben Klock, ANNA, Folamour, Mind Against and more.

Not only is he regular in Melbourne clubs (Revolver Upstairs, Bourke Street Courtyard and Glamorama to name a few), but recent performances at Melbourne's leading festivals earmarked him as an act for the bigger stage. At the end of 2020, he tasted his first interstate booking when he was flown to Byron Bay to headline a 2021 NYE event.

His recent debut single "Struck", released on Berlin-based Ombra International, the in-vogue label run by indie-dance maestro Curses, served as a crucial entry point into the global scene. The single is a highly infectious dance cut designed to suck you into its dark disco inferno, catching the attention of the underground scene's leading players. With his recent sold-out headline show selling over 500 tickets, Gumm is well situated to be at the Melbourne forefront of a new, compelling global sound with roots in genres like nu-wave, indie-dance and nu-disco. 

About The edit : " Sassafras (aka. Josh my housemate) and I were returning from buying groceries and he asked what I thought about editing Kim Wilde - You Keep Me Hangin' On. We had spoken about writing some music together so it was a perfect chance to have a play. Sass' love for the original was contagious and I soon became attached myself. The process was incredibly enjoyable and the result is now one of my favourite projects."

Knife presenta “Downwell” un proyecto de música electrónica de gran impacto con sede en Tbilisi, Georgia.  El joven productor y DJ se ha presentado en lugares de su Georgia natal, como G2 & Bude de Khidi.  Su estilo se caracteriza por una magistral absorción y fusión de influencias EBM, post-punk y techno.  El primer EP de Downwell “I See Death in Your Eyes” fue publicado a través de Oraculo Records en España con contribuciones posteriores en v / as para: SCTR, Substantiv, Hex Recordings & Industrias Mekanikas de Madrid.

The last 3 crew party we did at Corsica was with electro stalwarts Scand and our trusty friends from previous parties Them. Only 2 rooms though this time so we split the line-up across both rooms and it worked really well.

The secret guest for Plex at this party is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can meet within the scene, Pär @Grindvik. Label owner of Stockholm LTD and veteran of the Swedish electronic/techno scene for many years Pär laid down a super hypnotic set which went down a treat during his peak time workout in a sweaty main room. Xpresso Martina (Charlot van Heeswijk) is a creative powerhouse known for their work as a photographer, filmmaker and visual artist before venturing into a DJ career.

As a fresh face behind the decks but no stranger to the Berlin scene, Xpresso Martina has been turning heads and seducing dancefloors with infectious grooves and vocal-driven, genre-fluid sets.

Their unique track selection promises a tasteful blend of Synthwave, Disco, Italo, New Beat and EBM complemented by cosmic acid basslines and uplifting House — e�ortlessly weaving contrasting genres and moods into an atmosphere infused with emotion, evoking feelings of 80s and 90s nostalgia with a modern spin.

Next to holding a residency with EBM and darkwave label Crave Tapes, Xpresso Martina has been running a party series with their Berlin based collective R27, aiming to showcase local and international talents. Driven by their own desire to defy categorisation and a strong belief in the transformative, therapeutic power of dance music they aim to curate spaces in which both, divisions between people and musical genres, are transcended to foster a harmonious and diverse collective experience.
