Locked-In is back with a fifth voyage with a four-track odyssey from Benjamin.

Spacious and airy, "Floating" starts the EP with tasteful elegance. Softly interwoven atop a driving kick, Floating takes you on a heady trip through the astral planes of your next summer.

Benjamin turns things up a notch with this groovy slammer, "Deep Trails". A meaty kick and juicy padded-out bass line give the listener something to get their teeth into, whilst the track's snappy percussion provides a playfulness that no dancer can resist.

There's interstellar lift-off when the growling engines of the aptly named "Smashed Star" hit the dance floor. A significant low-end and flirty rhythm section drives the track forward with a momentous entourage of squashed synth patterns and nostalgic sample loops. Strap yourselves in; the only way is up!

"Cosmic Medicine" cools off EP with a horizontal closing that tickles the weary traveller's mind into its deserved bodily rest. Passionate about breaks, she’s known for her eerie, atmospheric vibes. Her mix for us is a testament to this, showcasing her signature spooky style. Brace yourself for an hour of otherworldly textures and off-kilter rhythms.

Locked-In Podcast 5.2 [Claquepou]

Locked-In is back in the game with its sixth release, The Amigos EP. This four-track exploration sees rising producers Andy Somoza and Juaan take the helm, crafting an EP destined for the crates of discerning DJs.

Leading the charge is "Disperso," a cheeky and extroverted anthem that injects chopped-up rave stabs and nostalgic vocal breaks into a tight rhythm section. It's a classic Locked-In opener with a fresh twist, sure to get bodies moving.

"5am" dials up the intensity with driving, compressed kicks and dry snares, exuding edgy confidence – perfect for those late-night warehouse sessions where the energy is pumping.

A left turn on the B-side. "Waita" ushers in a spooky atmosphere. Ghostly bells and wet synths dance around an electro snare and airy, galloping hi-hats, creating an intriguing and unsettling soundscape.

The EP closes with "Mi Partner," a masterfully woven tapestry featuring silky vocal samples, driving snares, and a killer bassline. This introspective track beautifully counterpoints the playful energy of the A-side.

LKDNV06 - Andy Somoza, JUAAN, V.Alb - Amigos EP [Preview]

Shon Jovi is an American artist from San Clemente, California, now based in El Salvador, running @mizatasoundlab. This mix, curated for us, features deep cuts and unreleased gems from talented artists. It's a dark, spacey acid electro journey spanning 90s deep digs to new, unreleased future sounds.

A warm and flowing selection from FI LO for the Locked In Amsterdam series. Deep grooves, rich textures and subtle rhythms guide this hour long journey through late night house and introspective club sounds. Amsterdam's Locked-In imprint continues its hot streak with LKDNV07, a four-track EP by Offenbach's Tom Ries titled "Comeback Kid." This release showcases Ries' talent for crafting immersive, emotionally charged house narratives.

The title track sets a warm, rolling groove with organic percussion and lush synths, creating a hypnotic late-night vibe. "Deepfried Diversion" blends soulful keys with driving rhythms for a true dancefloor odyssey.

LKDNV07 - Tom Ries - Comeback Kid EP [Preview]

Locked-In returns with its eighth vinyl release, showcasing the talents of DOTT in a four-track EP.

The A-side opens with "Shock FM", setting the EP's tone. DOTT's masterful sound design is fully displayed, building tension and release through intricate percussion. The track's progression is sure to captivate dancefloors and headphone listeners alike.

"The Helper Returns" follows, diving deeper into atmospheric territory. Swirling synths intertwine with a driving bassline, evoking vast, subaqueous landscapes. The track's subtle evolution reveals new sonic details with each listen.

Flipping to the B-side, "A Bit of Dis & Dat" presents a more stripped-back approach. Its minimalist structure allows each carefully placed element to shine, from crisp hi-hats to a rumbling low-end. This is DJ material to maintain energy while adding depth to their sets.

The EP closes with "Sine Bass Runs Deep." Here, undulating rhythms and shimmering top-end create a sense of constant motion, perfect for those early morning hours when the dancefloor is locked in a collective trance.

This mix was recorded right after a very inspiring trip to Berlin. It is a vinyl only mix with some records I’ve been feeling at the moment as well as some new finds.

Madrid-based DJ David Ferrer delivers a sharp, rolling mix of minimal techno and electro-tinged house for Amsterdam’s Locked-In series.

Originally from Tenerife, Ferrer blends raw rhythm with sleek, futuristic energy drawing on his roots in hip-hop and breakbeat for deep groove control. A resident at Madrid’s Access and regular at Sigh and Greenworld Festival, his sets balance tension, movement, and mood with precision.

After a stream of constant quality, locked in records returns once again this time with uk based Jack keo who finally unleashes ‘Bigger’ ep. After videos circulating of raresh and Ricardo hammering most of the ep in one of there legendary b2b sets at fabrics birthday and other big names spinning it throughout the summer of 24’ it’s been highly anticipated by those in the know.

The record starts with the stunningly crafted ‘bigger’ with a lovely mix of subtle electronics and warm pads. A2 ‘ode to e’ is a breaks piece of dreamy tones and vocal patterns. On the heavy and darker b side the naughty bass of ‘quartet’ heads b1. Built for an attack on the floor with its vocoder driven rhythm. For the b2, One of raresh’s weapons of 2024 ‘bra sett’ its ever changing and switching layers is an energy boost to any dance floor!

LKDNV09 - Jack Keo - Bigger EP [Preview]

More than a year after its last compilation, Amsterdam’s Locked-in returns with a glistening selection of club-ready tracks further anchoring the label’s progressive groove while opening avenues to different sounds and scenes.

Blending minimal techno and ambient aesthetics, Hamburg’s Rupert Marnie opens up the A-side with “Half-Baked Spel”, a mysterious yet dancefloor-ready cut elegantly setting the tone. Norwegian house and techno DJ and producer A:G (Asgeir Giskegjerde) follows up with an escape into trance influenced sounds, delivering a playful, ambitious and infectious bopper. 

On the flip-side, Barcelona-based Aniano takes things one notch deeper offering a dimmed light minimal groover. With its moody atmosphere and catchy samples, the track gracefully hints at Perlon's catalogue. 

To close the journey, Frog Dog Records crew member Slacks from Philadelphia takes the listener apart with a very subtle emotional break composition, crafting an intricate and moving piece of music reminiscing of good times.

With four tracks stemming from different parts of the world, Locked-In once again showcases the quality of its curation and the consistency of its sound and vision. This release is dimmed to resonate on both dark and sun-drenched dancefloors.

This mix was recorded at home on two trusty 1210s and is a selection of records inspired by all the unforgettable times I’ve spent partying Amsterdam. Hope you enjoy the vibe as much as I did putting it together.

Slim J’s contribution to the series is a study in mood and intuition. Recorded in a single take during a spring sunset in Lisbon, the mix feels less like a set and more like a narrative. It drifts between warmth, shadow and subtle tension.
