The headline track of the EP for a reason, Asphyxiate helps illustrate the main themes of the project. The gritty basses and heavy drums combine to form a dark track that utilises elements from a number of different sub-genres within Drum & Bass. This tune and the EP as a whole takes influence from artists such as Simula, Skantia and Annix, whilst also providing a unique sound through the bass synthesis present throughout each track. These bass elements from the core component of each tune and the overall project.
