Kodeka is a DnB/Jungle selecta from Bristol, UK. Her mixing style reflects her broad tastes, influences and complete love of the music. Pulling tracks from multiple sub-genres Kodeka's sound is drawn together by heavy basslines, driving drums and bouncy flows with a focus on blends and layers to build pace and energy.

During lockdown she co-founded Full Spectrum Bristol, a ravers' collective set up to combat the prevalence of cis, white, male line ups by promoting queer positive, racially diverse, female driven Drum and  Bass. With a packed summer schedule, 2022 is going to be a big one for them!

Please check the audio file: it has short snippets of several DNB tunes by an artist you haven't heard much about but who, imho, needs to be heard.
Basically he makes some wicked, different DNB which I'd like to release. He's not much of an online type (he's a studio hermit!), and I feel he could use some words of encouragement about his stuff, so IF YOU LIKE this type of sound, do leave a comment here or on Soundcloud, and I'll let the artist know!

I want to get his EP out.

‘Affection’ from Brainwork & mnml sets the tone with sci-fi pads, a dash of computer bleeps, emotive vocal samples, crisp drums and rich bass all find their space creating a vast sea of vibes. Wavey!

Aaron Payne follows with ‘This Ain’t Happening’. Snappy drums and pulsating ambient sounds carry us into Aaron’s world of twisting bass and sci-fi glitches. Seasoned with a smattering of house style soul vocal samples that lift the track into the next dimension. It’s alive!

‘Myth of Myself’ from Istoria brings deep meditative vibes from the outset. Tight drums and smooth bass are the perfect backdrop for Istoria to weave his dark magic into. Spellbinding!

Lastly we have ‘Aura’ courtesy of Hobzee & Uneven. Rolling drums lead us into a late night jazzed out expedition with weighty bass, trumpet samples and croaky voiced jazz guy samples to seal the deal. Deep vibrations!
