Adam Levine - Lost Stars

This was of course inspired by the greatet hip hop producer of all time - James Yancey aka J Dilla (R.I.P.). The vocals of the original track were from Proof (R.I.P.), but the instrumental beat itself stuck to me stronger. But since it was nothing but a piano and a drum beat (which is still beautiful on its own), I wanted to get creative and add a little more power to it. The remix of the track itself was enough until I put the piano intro into reverse and it became a whole nother song ("Back to Life"). Every sample on that track (other than the reverse piano)was put in by me alone. When I finished, it was all together and flowed well, but since they had become their own seperate songs, I decided to split them up, but those who want it alltogether can still have it. This was all inspired by the power of J Dilla's music, which will never get old. I hope no one thinks I was trying to bite his music or infringe any rights. I did this solely for the love of the music and nothing else.
