Locomatica - Interdicted

Locomatica on their home-label with freshest stuff from their humble cuisine. The header track "Pomegranate" is a healthy ground for the release with old school line consisted of low stabs, riding bottom and trenchant main theme while in the breakdown lies eye opener.
"Want Some Sparkles" continues in same spirit but this time alongside drum machine samples and vocal line, you will find brusque-synth as a key outline of the track.
On remix duties LCMTC welcomes new name onboard - Roberto. His classy production on Artform, Affin and Be As One was more than enough for hiring and Roberto trully delivers a brilliant yet neat version of "Want Some Sparkles", persisting on old school and simple roll using the deep line and filtered vocals from original as a main trick.

Locomatica - Pomegranate

Lonely days in studio - hidden story behind the title "Einsamkeit" and two tracks as the final result of the hard work in Locomatica's well-fortified bunker. Emotional side of techno is presented here throughout synths with gently attack, yet dusky and intriguing melodies used in different ways...each track has its own story, each track has its own signet. Guest of the release is Berlin-based, live-act genius Ray Kajioka, who has already left the signature on techno uber-labels like Kanzleramt and Cocoon, transformed Einsamkeit's tender parts to a prolific dancefloor tune using the essentials from original.

Locomatica - Around

When crossing the red lines in our lives we are affraid of unknown, terrified what comes next. This release by Locomatica is something different on the plate but certainly not a terrifying thing. Actually, "Red Lines" in Locomatica's case is a special package for winter days, wrapped with worm, deep stubs, tied with knot of melancholic pads and shrouded in cosiness of male vocal.
In this case there is no better remixer than Berlin techno living-legend Alexander Kowalski. His versatility and full control of deep, dub sounds alongside firm drumline are pushing the "Red Lines" closer to the edge of techno, reinforcing its main elements, assembling raw yet endearing remix.

Locomatica - Red Lines (Original Mix)

Maybe the best one-sentence description for this release should be "flawless journey from deep emotions to solid patterns". Well-mannered piece of techno named "Rootkit" is an opener with noir atmosphere bricked deep into its structure and gloomy stabs on top after which the whole package slips into firmer interpretation of "Rootkit", directed by infamous tecno giant Hans Bouffmyhre who delivers well-crafted slice of driving techno with precise stabs, gradually built flux which culminates every time high-octave arps drop. Last but not least, "Interrupter", is a stripped down peak time material, straightforward techno pulse crafted with simple drums, sequenced noirish melody and matted texture in the background.
