The single "Funeral" is the first sample of Locomotiva Elétrica's new studio material and will be released on January, 12th, in all streaming plataforms, by the label Abraxas Records. The song has funerals attended by the guitarist, Murilo, and the keyboard player, Lucas, as concept and background. The dark ambience is reflected in the dense and heavy introduction, with the keyboards bringing a grim and psychedelic mood, being conducted by a guitar pouring fuzz-filled chrods, and tribal drums. The song sets the tone for the band's next EP, that is rich in details, layers and magnetism.

Funeral

Locomotiva Elétrica is a Brazilian instrumental rock band, formed by Lucas Stein (keyboard), Murilo Neumann (guitar) and Eduardo Camini (drums). It was born in 2014, during music jams set up by friends, were the first compositions were made. The first live performance was in 2015, delivering a visceral, energetic and psychedelic sound influenced by the 70s and 60s rock and roll, post rock and stoner rock.
The EP "Os Animais Que Nos Habitam" was realeased in 2024, by the label Abraxas Records. With five songs, recorded between 2018 and 2023 and produced by the band, the EP shows a band with more maturity and technique, in compositions full of moods and ambiences, heavy and melodic, during almost 30 minutes.

"Sonho Lúcido" is a delirium, traveling through heavy guitars and a sharp keyboard, ending in a dark and powerful lamentation.

"Funeral" shows the band capacity to create different dynamics in one song, transitioning between brutal heavy rock and calm moments many times.

"Terra Seca" maybe is the heaviest song in the EP. A beautiful introduction conducts the song to powerful riffs that end in an explosion of fuzz and hammond.

Locomotiva Elétrica is a Brazilian instrumental rock band. It was born in 2014, during music jams set up by friends, were the first compositions were made. The first live performance was in 2015, delivering a visceral, energetic and psychedelic sound influenced by the 70s and 60s rock and roll, post rock and stoner rock. In 2016, the EP "Manuais de Delírios Cotidianos" was realeased with 5 songs.
In 2018, the band entered a 4 year hiatus, but kept producing the songs for its second EP "Os Animais Que Nos Habitam", scheduled to be released in February, 2024.
In 2022, Locomotiva Elétrica made its comeback as if it'd never left the stages. With more maturity and technique of its members, the band now gives its best live performances, delivering explosive and intense presentations. The highlight is the whole energy displayed, in which the guitar and keyboard make a set of riffs and psychedelic solos sustained by brutal, strong and full of groove drums.
The band is formed by Lucas Stein (keyboard), Murilo Neumann (guitar) and Eduardo Camini (drums).
