I recorded this mix because I wanted to play one song in particular. I built a 30-plus-song playlist around it and, as usual, hit record with no plan in mind. what followed was a showcase of some of my favorite things: pounding beats and clattering percussion, squiggling/guttural synths and EBM-/acid-laced grooves, the through line between aggression and longing.

then I had to rerecord it because I played too loud (I blame recently seeing DJ Stingray blow out the speakers three songs into his set). some blends ended up longer, some shorter, but it's as fried as ever.
