Choked Out is a collaborative project consisting of Raleigh-based club composers Blursome and Eyes Low (fka Funkss). An experiment in club violence, their 2/21/15 live cut at Kings sees the two carving out a heavy, cavernous space that wraps Eyes Low's thumping percussion design in Blursome's characteristic, swirling menace. The result is a shadowy demonstration of the their unique mastery of personal craft to create something singularly fierce, a subterranean trip into underground club scenes that rip with savage energy.
