Jamie Jones recruits Max Dean for ‘Start Screamin’ on Hottrax this July. 

Previously appearing on Resonance, Deeperfect, South Records, and more, Max Dean’s productions receive vast amounts of support from the likes of Michael Bibi and Jamie Jones. Now readying his first release for Jones’ Hottrax imprint, the UK-based DJ/producer drops two groove-laden tracks, marking some of his strongest productions to date. 

Leading the release, the title track ‘Start Scream’ brings swung drums, bouncy basslines, and memorable vocal licks together for an undeniable groover. ‘Yes Baby’ follows suit, bringing another welcome house cut, peppered with spoken word and eerie synth hits over funky low end and skippy percussion. 

Max Dean ‘Start Screamin’ drops on 22nd July 2022 on Hottrax.

PIV proudly presents the latest EP from Ibiza’s very own Kellie Allen, a true favorite of the label. With this highly anticipated release, Kellie delivers an invigorating blend of soul and rhythm that is set to make waves. For Kellie, this marks her second EP, but she’s no stranger to PIV, with multiple releases under her belt. Originally from London and now based in Ibiza, Kellie’s career has seen her rise steadily, including a standout B2B set with Prunk at PIV Festival and a closing set on the iconic terrace of Club Space in Miami. Since her production debut in 2017, she’s carved out a sound that marries house with a rich, soulful groove.
The EP opens with the title track, "Take Some Time," which exemplifies Kellie’s signature style: a soulful, lush, jazzy sound that is both deeply emotive and undeniably uplifting. Following this, the EP takes a turn towards the dancefloor with a selection of tracks that are primed for peak-time play. Expect heavy-hitting kick drums and growling basslines that create an irresistible groove. Kellie’s exploration of a more club-oriented sound brings a fresh, dynamic energy that will keep the floors moving.
