Jaime Rodríguez Navarro (aka James Rod) producer and creator of sound (freelancer), started out in 99/2000 with trends rooted culture break where he was sharing cabin as a DJ with national and international artists. James has shared the stage with artists such as LeeVanDowski (Cadenza), Monoblock (Meant/Dogs & Vultures), Pikaya (Cadenza), Heartthrob (Minus), Monchipet (Bpitch), Bauchamp (Bpitch), Coyu (Suara72020 Vision), Eleesban (Del Barrio Records), Rayko (Rare Wiri/Nang)

Motion, energy, dynamism and technique are what Jaime Rodriguez seeks to print in his tracks, trying to combine today’s elements with sounds of other times. Applying styles and compositional techniques to create a new concept of musical evolution, which exposes direct the "LIVE" format. Disco, Future Disco, Cosmic Disco, Italo Disco, Funk, Boogie, House... James’ influences are masterfully interpreted and transformed into today’s sonority to create a groove suitable for any track.

He has collaborated with artists of the carving of Ilya Santana, Iñigo & Dan only, Easy M, Irregular Disco Workers, Prins Thomas, Hiem, Roots Manuva, Max Essa, Jkriv, Greg Wilson, Rac, Kid Who, Thomass Jackson, Statickman, Coyu, Eleesban, Expansul, Andrew Weatherall, Rayko, Nelue, Julian Sanza, Sportloto, Bangkok Impact, Plastic of Reve, Pete Herbert, Dicky Trisco and many more.

Label owner of the Spanish nu disco label Golden Soul Records, founded in 2015, on which he has been working artists as Rayko, Copycat, Tulioxi, Turbo Cup, Somerville & Wilson, Slync, Get Down Edits, Dim Zach, Molinari... and soon to be joined with other big names in the nu drive international scene.

In 2016, his edits were released on the English label Midnight Riot. His more eclectic album until the date, "CLASS NIGHT", was based on edits and versions of big classics, reworked to the more pure James Rod style. Big basslines, large amounts of boogie and funk, pads, leads, subtle but with that pressure and that magnetism that can offer a more suitable technoid mood for the track. Adjusting old influences to more modern concepts, 8 cuts form the album, each one with a special scent and a different spirit. "CLASS NIGHT" has been having very good media acceptance, being album of the week on Juno and staying in the chart for the best albums on Juno Download.

Since the Nicolas Jaar remix of Kasper ́s cover version of Heaven back in 2009, Kasper Bjørke has always curated his remixes with a steady hand and a strong sense of who is the right producer to transform his music into something else - which not only contributes to his original but also adds a different flavor. Strong acts like Marvin & Guy, Gerd Janson, Mano Le Tough, Michael Mayer, Rebolledo, Superpitcher and many more have all made memorable interpretations of Kasper’s work through these years - and now its time for an impressive and brand new batch of remixes: A double Remix EP, once again with a carefully selected and diverse list of amazing contemporary electronic artists. 
Kasper says: “I reached out to artists that are either friends of mine already or artists that are in my current network through these past many years of touring - I admire them all and their musical skills and I am grateful for each of their contributions to this double remix EP, which I am both very proud of - and that I think interprets all the original tracks on my double EP Nothing Gold Can Stay” in their own unique way. “Marcello Giordani aka The Italian Stallion from Parma and I have known each other since I asked Marvin & Guy to remix my single “Cloud 9” back in 2016. Besides being part of M&G, Marcello is also producing amazing Italo Disco music under his own name while running his Italo Deviance blog. So, I had to have Marcello do a version of “Du Du Du” feat. Tomas Høffding (of WhoMadeWho) which already has a very distinct 80ies feeling - but I knew that Marcello could enhance that vibe by his musical sense of classic Italian Disco - and I think he made the perfect version, with playful arpeggios and wonderful synth stabs complimenting the Danish vocals by Høffding in a really perfect way! The remix is a brilliant dance floor starter and I have already experienced it do its magic many times!”

UK talent Dan Wainwright drops ‘Rituals’, a three track offering of mutant disco sounds on Night Noise Music backed with a remix from Joe Morris, this June. With a catalogue that takes in edits for To Rack and Ruin and Creative Use as well as singles for the likes of Hungarian HotWax and Through God’s Own Eyes, Wainwright is steadily becoming a must-check for those who enjoy lower tempo nightclub sounds of a discoid nature and this EP, already given ALFOS approval by Sean Johnston, shows why.

Opening with the anthemic ‘Raindance’, a growling groover characterised with bright, evolving synth hooks and tight delays which culminates in balearic guitar bliss, Joe Morris’ Dubwise remix of ‘Rain Dance’ closes out the package in, as the title suggests, nifty dubbed out style.

Title track Altered Beats is one of the most unique things we've ever heard, pumping, broken beat, acid rave style vibes leads into a monster chug drop with insane synth work throughout.

His "anything goes" approach to DJing, music and life has created some of the most out-of-sync, synergistic audio excursions and parties of the past 25 years. He has always stayed one step ahead by doing exactly what he wants, regardless of opinion, as an army of one, a cult leader for a last generation of pirates. 

Harvey's critically acclaimed 'Locussolus' project is finally receiving its long-awaited reissue for the digital generation, in its expanded entirety, as the debut release on Harvey’s new imprint HGS. The self-titled album saw Harvey's imagination run wild — from the big room stormer named after the club 'Berghain', the twisted psychedelic minimalism of 'Gunship' and 'Little Boots', to the "Fleetwood Mac on Quaaludes" trip of 'Tan Sedan', the Electro-Funk of 'I Want It' and 'Next To You' which features guest vocals by Heidi Lawden. On its initial limited release, Locussolus saw support from disparate sources such as Andrew Weatherall, Carl Cox, James Holden, Lovefingers, Francois K, Tim Sweeney, Trevor Jackson, Rob Da Bank and Ivan Smaggahe. David Mancuso even proclaimed 'Next to You' a “Loft classic” and it was included on many of that year’s DJ and Record Store "best of" lists.

Included alongside the album’s original full track listing are the complete remixes, dubs and instrumental versions, many available for the first time. To coincide with the reissue, Beatport is also hosting a remix competition from which the winner’s track will be included on a forthcoming remix package alongside new remixes from London’s Kiwi and LA’s Lovefingers, Bears In Space and Warehouse Preservations Society.
