Modul Art makes his debut on Minus, with a highly varied EP.

The first track of the EP "Anubis" is clearly oriented to the dance floor, with its recurring techno rhythm and melody.
Accompanied throughout by African percussion and a lead which gives its Egyptian side to the track.

The Second track "The Hiding Of The Beast" is a really special piece, dark atmosphere and offbeat rhythm gives a trashy side but softened by the emergence of synth.
The bass line is constantly evolving to become increasingly more powerful.

The third track "Smoking Shoes" is more oriented tech house.
The bass on several tones gives a joyful and dancing side.
While the synths will reveal a darker feeling.

The fourth track "Can You Feel The Darkness"close this EP in beauty.
Dark atmosphere , techno rhythm, acidulous synth and powerful bass.

PLANET CPG01 - ARTWORK TALE 
EN : CPG01 is a planet mainly made of water. The rare pieces of emerged earth which subsist, are composed of corals, anemones and volcanoes spitting water with a high pressure. The planet takes a general form of two bowls inserted in each other, without ever really merging. Hot currents constantly run on the first, cold ones on the other. As these energies encounter, they provoke constant tourbillions.
Under the water, the depth is such that, in case an explorer wishes to go to the center of this planet, he could get across it without finding an ounce of earth. Moreover, the deeper one gets into the unfathomable depth of CPG01, the more he feels the dizziness due to the pressure. This phenomenon, also called
narcosis, makes you hear sound coming from elsewhere and mixing to the moaning of Leviathan Watchers. These antediluvian giants resemble big majestic rays crowned with dear antlers. At ease in the air well as in the sea, they emit their own light as a self-guide, with a biochemical process. Their chant allows them to communicate and teach their great wisdom to the traveler who happens to pass by. They exclusively feed on anemones, which could be found growing under the water as well as on the ground. These plants, moreover, capture each wave emitted by the Leviathan Watchers in order to develop by sonosynthesis. These two forms of entirely different lives, can perfectly coexist. The Anemones sonosynthesis tends however, to memorize the sounds absorbed during this process. Any being, gifted with a conscience, who would eat them would immediately hear the powerful chants of the Watchers.

FR : Constituée essentiellement d’eau, CPG01 n’offre que de rares morceaux de terre émergés, couverts de coraux, d’anémones et de volcan crachant de l’eau à très haute pression. La planète prend une forme générale de deux boules insérées l’une dans l’autre, sans jamais vraiment fusionner. La première est continuellement parcourue de courant chaud et la seconde de courant froid. La rencontre de ces deux énergies provoque la création de tourbillons continus.
La profondeur sous l’eau atteint un tel seuil, que, dans l’éventualité ou un explorateur désirerait se rendre jusqu’au centre de cette planète, il le traverserait sans rencontrer une once de terre. La visite des abysses insondables de CPG01 provoque d’ailleurs des hallucinations qui gagneront en intensité au fur et à mesure que la pression des eaux augmentera. Ce phénomène, appelé narcose à l’azote ou ivresse des profondeurs, fait alors entendre des sons venus d’ailleurs se mélangeant aux mugissements des Léviathan gardiens. Ces géants antédiluviens ressemblent à de grandes raies majestueuses ornées de bois de cerf. À l’aise aussi bien dans les airs que dans les mers, ils émettent leur propre lueur pour se guider en toute circonstance par un procédé biochimique. Ils communiquent entre eux grâce à leur chant et insufflent par ce procédé leur grande sagesse aux voyageurs occasionnels. Malgré leur taille imposante, leur naturel pacifique les pousse à se nourrir exclusivement d’anémones. Ces plantes captent chaque onde émises par les léviathans afin de se développer par sonosynthèse. Ainsi, les deux seules formes de vies peuplant CPG01 coexistent parfaitement. La sonosynthése des anémones a toutefois tendance à garder en mémoire les sons absorbés lors de ce procédé. Quand le vent se lève, si vous tendez l’oreille, vous entendrez le bruissement continu de leur feuille, restituant les échos des chants des gardiens.

Their originality relies on a bold harmonization of musical scales and universes, a sharp alternance of hypnotic and melancholic sounds exploring both sadness, epic, nostalgic, joy and fantasy. A resolute desire for beauty rooted in their wide musical taste, ranging from jazz and blues to classical music and psychedelic rock.

Bespoke Musik Radio 052 : Amentia

I knew what I was doing, I was going to Burning Man; but what I did not know was just how I’d assimilate and react to all the data, images, sounds, smells ... what would become of my ex-asthmatic anxieties and the difficulties of living in this kind of environment: dust, dust, and more dust!!  

In Black Rock City you'll find all the good and all the evil of this world, the only thing that changes is how you take it in, because here the available tools of art and provocation operate differently ... so why not the music too?

Whatever one may think, there is still a comfort zone in Black Rock City. It’s about attitude: it’s always with a given attitude that you do something to then obtain a determined result, break the routine, open up to something new, not appearance at all costs, just letting everything happen because it has to happen. Running the other way in a dark hostile but magical place like this with a voice that says, "I'm not afraid, I'm here now!” the same voice you hear when you're sitting all alone in front of the pyramid of Cheope, its outline standing out majestically in the dark ... far from comforting places. 

I saw some friends collapse because, inevitably, if you let something get to you here that something will change you. I believe that these people will come away with a greater awareness. There is no magic to Burning Man: there are those who listen and those who continue to sit in their comfort zone, the same as those who from home point fingers with their two bit sarcasm.

The moment when the Man burns is certainly one of the most contemporary and modern tribal experiences I've ever witnessed, it’s like being at the centre of a big blockbuster; but where the characters are no longer Ben Hur or gladiators!

On the Monday 70,000 people left Black Rock City and on the ground there wasn’t even a crumb .. only the footprints of those who had been there, which the wind will take care to remove all traces of.

Before you experience Burning Man, you always have an image of how it would be. After a couple days, I realised it was a lot different than I had imagined. Being in the middle of no where surrounded by dust, where everybody around you shares the same vibe and we all come together as one was like a dream. I wish I could live this dream forever. During my White Ocean set, the atmosphere around was shaking with a thousand voices; like that part of the song when the music stops and the voices die down, but a fragile few still float in the air.  It's a different planet. Without even realising, you connect with everything around you. Your music is asking questions and it's demanding for a story to be told. Thank you White Ocean and I can't wait to see you in the dust!
