From Germany’s feted pair of half-century makers comes urgent tribal application converging on your sweat glands. ‘Twelve Monkeys’ has Frederic Berger and Patrick Buck sending out streams of sonar signals and fast lane flashes to colour plain-speaking dancefloor tenancy that jets past with physicality and fullness. ‘Sixth Sense’ is not one to lighten the load, administering deep techno stealth marked by keys that effervesce eerily from underneath, and hi-hats shaken by a lining of bass running operations with a firm hand. The perfection with which he blends a raw, pounding groove with a simple, soulful vocal hook is mark of a man pure creative talent. Subtle house-influenced flourishes take the whole production process up a level, giving the track a spacious sound with character and depth that few can equal. “Cry Wolf” takes this creative blueprint in a heavier, hypnotic, and equally distinctive direction. 

It’s no wonder that Harvey McKay regularly tops the Beatport Techno Charts. Apart from his exceptional tracks on Bedrock, he has released standout gems on Drumcode, Cocoon and Soma, along with a string of monster remixes.
