SpoonBread is an "all-star" ensemble comprised of seasoned musician's who have played with a myriad of acts and artists which reads like a "who's who" or American musical history.  Rhett Tyler/guitar, Doug Howard/bass/lead vocals, Patrick Stansfield Jones/guitar, Peter Buetner/sax, Mark Marshall/keys and Bo Matheson on drums...  all true "working musicians," and in that do not often get the opportunity to perform together.  But without a doubt they know their music... and in this live performance that ability and its potential for magic is clearly evident.

The "Fireman's Ball" was a benefit performance by the band, promoted by the members of SpoonBread themselves in order to assist the local, rural fire companies in their educational funds of upstate New York.  It was performed at one of the oldest remaining Vaudeville theater's in the country, The Oneonta Theatre in Oneonta, NY.   It turned out to be "one of those nights," where everything came together.
