This recording was to compare microphone on Toms. We used RE15 (vintage) and MD421 for the comparison. 7 Channels were used to record this file, and the tom mics were EV RE15. We noticed that the RE15 in solo were quite light, but with addition of overhead mic, it sounded reasonable with nice vintage attack on tom sound.
