One sentence to summarise his music. A music to summarise a journey. A sound to create a universe. And this EP to act as a logbook written in the calm and terrifying embrace of the cosmos. That is how we can qualify the way Dorian adopts his music or lets himself be adopted. An authentic musician far distanced from mainstream medias to find his own voice, his own touch, and always willing to surpass his own accomplishments. If we had to summarise his music, we would “only” have to say that it takes us by the gut and soothe our mind until we’re somewhere else, perhaps in outer space.

After multiple releases, Netpune went into exile with his music for a while to get the best out of it. Today, he comes back and presents an all-new opus that will surely take your breath away.

This logbook is divided in three portions like stars of a constellation he followed to come back home. The journey was not made alone since he was accompanied by the lovely voice of the English singer Clara La San. Some will be blown away and others will travel with Neptune, but the EP guarantees an unearthly experience.

With a delicate bass-line, ethereal atmosphere and deep underlying vocals, "Lessons" takes you on a trip through space. The single is also accompanied by four remixes. Mighty Mouse (1/2 Du Tonc) brings the track directly to the dance-floor with his high-energy remix, while Falcon Punch (USA) adds a blissful & euphoric touch. FINAL DJS (Germany) introduce a pop flavor to the table by combining catchy vocal hooks with a consistent & memorable synth lead. Deep in the depths of Norway (Bergen to be precise), https://soundcloud.com/atella and O. Martin have been brewing up ‘Mechanical Sparrow’ for Eskimo recordings, with club remix and rework from Man Power.

The original gives a nod to their expansive environment and the sounds of Air or Royksopp, sweeping melodies, majestic vocals, and luscious French “Phoenix” guitar. The Atella Club Mix is friendlier for those seeking out the ebbs of the night, while Man Power’s remix reveals the bare bones of ‘Mechanical Sparrow’, it’s delicate wings in pensive flight contemplating a divine dreamstate, in the style of Mount Kimbie and Bonobo.  

Atella are Magnus & Johannes who hilariously stumbled upon each other at a piggy back race. They have remixed fellow Norwegian Lindstrom and indie-electronica outfit Lemaitre. They debuted on Eskimo with ‘The Monster’ back in 2014, a track that was recently featured in ‘Scream’, the TV series spin off from the film trilogy. Back then they were remixed by UK electronic darlings, Stubborn Heart, while Atella’s latest release features a remix from another UK aficionado, Man Power, the elusive producer for his work on Correspondent and John Talabot’s Hivern Discs.

The track features O. Martin, a close musical ally of Aurora (infamous for the music on the current John Lewis Christmas ad) which gave life to this collaboration, as Atella explains “When Atella and O. Martin met in the studio in Bergen, Norway, there was chemistry right away. They just started jamming, recorded several acoustic instruments and then brought in the organic-electronic sound. O. Martin composed text and melody and Mechanical Sparrow was born.”

Athens-based duo Keep Shelly In Athens have been churning out their idiosyncratic take on pop music since 2010, but 2015’s Now I’m Ready is only their second official LP. At eight songs and 45 minutes, the album strikes a concise, yet imposing figure, each individual effort comprised of enough peaks and valleys to bring the listener to the edge and back again. It’s only the duo’s second official LP, but considering their release history on outlets as diverse as Cascine, Forest Family and Planet Mu, it’s no surprise that their arrival on Friends of Friends is such an unabated success.

Making their debut in 2015 with the self-released single ‘Get Real (Can’t Touch Your Love)’, Anglo-French duo Loframes (London based musician James Yuill & Antibes producer Franck Russo) quickly established themselves as ones to watch, their stylish mix of synth-pop, deep house and nu-disco winning them a legion of fans amongst DJs, public and press.

Building on their initial success the band cemented their reputation with acclaimed remixes for some of the biggest acts around, including M83 and Erasure, and with 2 more original singles 'Since You've Gone', featuring French nu-disco star Anoraak on US label Midnight In Paris, and 'Real Life' on fast rising French label Splinter at the end of 2017.
 
Having taken a sabbatical whilst James recorded and released his latest solo album (2017's 'A Change of State'), the duo are now back fully recharged and refreshed with several collaborations and releases already lined up for 2018.
