Loving this track!!  Another Weathervane Music (www.weathervanemusic.org) studio recording that you too can download and remix!  Maya Simone is an amazing artist, this composition speaks to both her amazing voice and her ability to envelope the listener in emotion.

With this mix, I tried to raise the level of discordant tension in the composition through tons of movement, never letting the listener really settle into the mix.  I hope this helps deliver the conflicting feelings of finding yourself in paradise, but feeling so disconnected and distant from...  something.

Rather than try to add my interpretation of a specific genre of music, I tend to compose music from varying genres at the same time. A listener can typically expect elements of folk, bluegrass, rock, blues, classical, industrial, trance and likely many other influences in all of my compositions.
