Recorded using Pro Tools M-Powered

The drums were sequenced from samples using Battery 3 RTAS by Native Instruments (Compressed using the Bomb Factory BF76, a recreation of the Universal Audio 1176 limiting amplifier)
Piano recorded using Mini Grand RTAS by A.I.R
The bass was created from a simple sine wave and triangle wave using FM8 RTAS By Native Instruments and recorded also using an Ibanez Soundgear 5 string bass.
Vocal track sampled from 'Through The Fire' by Chaka Khan (Raised by 2 semitones using Elastic Audio Editor.)

After everything was recorded and I felt happy with my work I moved on the mixing the tracks to try and get some headroom back. Analog summing was done using the Fostex 820 console and fed into an MDX 2100 Rack Compressor then returned to Pro Tools to be dithered (Not totally sure if dithering was necessary since the bit rate was never changed) and bounced to an HDD In WAV format.


This was a fairly simple song to mix because there is not a whole lot of tracks in the song competing for bandwidth. 
The whole process took about 5 months from start to finish. (Working off and on whenever I felt like it.) I wasn't trying to finish fast or anything because I was only doing this for fun and practice. 

If anyone is interested in them, I would be happy to send the separate audio files that make up the basic structure of the song. They can be used to recreate your own composition or just to see how I went about putting the song together. 
If you have the Pro Tools DAW, I can send the PTF and WAV files through email. (I think I can anyway, the files are kinda large.)
