Anna Funk Damage is a deviant assemblage of industrial, electro, noise and punk. Andrea is self-taught and lives in Livorno, collects records of all kinds and his DJ sets range from different sounds from different periods, without genre limits. 

He made his debut with his first album in 2019 on Moyo Demonio's Franco-Japanese MIND Records and was soon launched to play around Europe. 

His latest album is titled HARD-CORE SOFT-PORN and was released on January through the Italian Raw Culture label.

On July 27th we returned to Nowadays in New York for our second twenty four/seven party. We saw DJ Sprinkles (inside) and Actress (in the garden) playing at sunrise. Aurora Halal tore up the main room. Mister Sunday closed in their own back yard. As we gear up for twenty four/seven London, we’ve revisited some of our favourite memories from the New York edition.

"Probably contrary to what everyone else would see, I actually found the image quite serene and tranquil. I’m usually very meticulous and nitpicky when recording mixes, I can get stuck on things for ages but with the image I almost found myself in a state of ataraxia haha. You can hear it translate very much so in my song choices. There’s a lot of very warm, lush, slow building ambient tracks which I know is a massive deviation from my usual output, but it’s what I felt the image demanded of me." J. P.
