This album is split into two halves. The Yin side [retractive, passive and receptive], which features mostly melody driven songs, with acoustic/analogue recordings. Largely composed and recorded in Moonlit isolation in a rural environment.
The Yang side [active, repelling and expansive] which was composed and recorded in the city, under the Sun, features more rhythm based tracks, recorded digitally with midi sounds and sampled drums. More improvisational and spontaneous than the first half. Both halves contain a little bit of the other, and there is a track in-between the two sides that exemplifies the philosophy, and serves as a bridge/portal between the two worlds that potentially exists within us all.

Dale Howard is a new signing at Morris Audio and has shown his talent already on labels like OFF or Fear of Flying. The Bounce Back EP is a fine example of both old school and new school, with raw subby bass lines, kicking drums combined with  smooth hypnotic chords and a well balanced deepness. Dale loves the classic sounds of 90's US house and garage and you can hear this on this EP. The remix from our friend Washerman (Gianni Siravo from Azuni fame) is again top quality as all his current work. Let’s bounce!
