Jason Peters needs no introduction, but for the poor souls unfamiliar with his work, here are some facts you need to know about the respected American producer: First things first, he is the owner of the mighty Roam Records; second, he has released – between originals and collaborations – in many, many, many labels, such as Wonder Stories, Leng, Logical, Boite Music, Emerald & Doreen, Meant, Whiskey Disco, Rotten City, ESTHÉTIQUE, tici taci, and on his very own Roam, obviously.

Jason is now back to Nein with “Industry”, a dark as hell EBM/Cold Wave-infused EP featuring two smashing originals and two imposing remixes made with love by British producer Ton Globiter and Turkish virtuoso Fat&Bald. Premiered here, the latter’s contribution is definitely something.

Ortac Genc’s pieces as Fat&Bald are known for the interesting combination of orient elements with Rock-inspired dark sounds; and for his interpretation of “Red Moon”, he wouldn’t forgo such a compelling mishmash. The main components of Jason’s theme were kept, but the added ones by Ortac brought a more intricate atmosphere to the track. If the original strikes as being more retro and cosmic, the remix goes in another direction – yes: rich in orient elements with Rock-inspired dark sounds.

Introverso lands on Espacio Cielo with a mortal and bloody release. In his “Cadaver” EP, the young and promising Léon-based producer shows his Dark Disco influences through two well-constructed originals in which he skilfully combines lots of arpeggios with tons of warm synths. On the remix duties, JGR and Cannibal Coconuts.

With a sonority defined as futuristic and rich in acid textures filled with retro tints, electric guitar riffs, and clubbing basses, Introverso seizes his debut on an important European imprint to showcase his competent producing skills. His “Asesino”, premiered here, delivers a vibrant atmosphere built on frantic arpeggiated synth layers, a sturdy bassline, and a beautiful acid lead. The kid seems to know what he is doing, doesn’t he? Looking forward to checking his future endeavours.

“Comanche EP” is a journey with some dark, groovy and psychedelic vibes that reveal once again the “ethno-disco” side of Alberto Melloni (@albertomelloni).

The native chants and traditional instruments rely on a landscape of electronic music and disco grooves that through canyons and blazing deserts, give life to two original club tracks: “Comanche”, clearly focused on peak time, and “Cortical”, a slow motion and 90s flavored trance-ish banger.

The release is completed with two inspired remixes from Italian master Amarcord (@amarcordmusic)(Ombra International, Dust & Blood) and Turkish Fat&Bald (Belly Dance Services, Latido), both showing their eclectic and cosmic vision of dance music.
