Vicky Montefusco is an Italian DJ/producer since the end of the 90s. Playing first at private parties organized along with friends, he began to construct his base. Always fascinated by the lifestyle and music of the 80s, his sets and releases are always characterized by Indie/Techno grooves with the addition of retro-infused synth layers, especially from the classic Moog. Having started almost as a child spinning vinyl records, he has an excellent mixing technique and has already had gigs in many different countries. Vicky had his first official release when signed with ISL recordings (International Sound Laboratory) by Jesper Dalhback, then Items & Things by Magda, Troy Pierce, and Marc Houle, and Clouded Vision by Matt Walsh. His solo EP on Vinyl on Dusk & Waves is one of the highlights of his growing discography. And he keeps going on with solid releases on vital labels such as Prins Thomas’s Internasjonal, Sasha Carassi’s Ilinx, and David Carretta’s Space Factory.
