Saline is Dead Hazards' debut LP featuring 13 songs that play with themes like disillusionment and detachment and hold sounds ranging from raw sludge to rock-operatic passages. Saline brings a mixture of fuzz, colliding melodies, and low strings wrapped in melancholy, with a nod to 80s-90s heavy metal and alternative.

Description for "Make a Way" by JLTHAKAD

"Make a Way" was crafted as my (JLTHAKAD) final assignment for my Bachelor of Arts in Audio Production, completed a while back. This project required me to produce an original track from the ground up, incorporating all the skills I developed throughout my studies. As part of the assignment, I was tasked with featuring a vocalist other than myself, so I collaborated with Heavymetal TRVP, whose dynamic performance elevated the track.

The production process was immersive. After composing the beat, I invited Heavy to record his vocals. He initially sent a version recorded on his phone, which captured a raw, authentic energy. We later recorded in my home studio to achieve higher audio quality, though I found the phone version’s unique character more compelling. Multiple iterations were explored to perfect the final mix.

Creative Vision: 
When creating the beat, I initially pictured underwater vibes. After receiving Heavy’s vocals, my vision shifted to a "blasting off in a rocket" mode. I wanted the listener to feel as tho they were preparing to launch, engines pumping, countdown ticking and then boom, headed to outer space! So hopefully the music feels like it’s launching into outer space, which was my way of putting my unique mark on Heavy’s vocals where he introduced his own vision, resulting in a powerful and cohesive track.

Well, if you'd told me I would be arranging a song to sing a duet with someone who doesn't exist I probably wouldn't have believed you. However, Suno came up with a really decent piece of music to some simple words I wrote a long time ago and, after a lot of adaptation and production, this is what I came up with.

Like many, my journey started with big dreams as a child. I imagined myself as a musical genius, learning to play the recorder and later moving on to the violin and guitar. Back then, I had no idea how challenging the music industry could be. As life moved on, new adventures like jobs, holidays, and eventually starting a family took over, and my musical dream slowly faded into the background.

But the story didn’t end there. Over the past 40 years, technology has evolved in incredible ways, creating opportunities that were once unimaginable. Social media has reconnected us with old friends and memories, while AI and music software have revolutionised how we create and share music. The music industry, once an exclusive club, has had to adapt, leaving space for new voices to emerge.

This is where Logical Miracle was born, a collaboration between my love for music and the technical genius of my partner. For years, I wrote poems, not realising they were songs in waiting. Today, with the help of AI, music production software, and my tech-savvy partner, we’ve brought those words to life. The dream of working in a big studio isn’t necessary anymore; with the right tools and expertise, we’re able to create professional-quality music right from home.

Logical Miracle is the result of this collaboration. It’s not just a musical project, it’s a testament to the power of dreams and the possibilities that technology brings. What started as a simple idea has blossomed into something much bigger, a dream shared and fulfilled. Now, it’s time for our music to be heard.
