This EP starts with a collaboration between Tony Y Not (@tony-mukke)and Bonnie Spacey (@bonniespacey) and the desire to do an only women EP. Women have long been at the forefront of pushing the sonic envelope in electronic music. Although not always obvious, we decided to put them in the spotlight in an industry where they are still underrepresented.
The sounds of the three original tracks by Tony y Not and Bonnie Spacey is in line with the artistic direction of the label: clubby, sexy, dark disco!
Justine Forever (@justineforever) and Shubostar (@shubostar) were the perfect match for remixes to add a bit of a new wave synth and cosmic vibe to it.
We are proud of the girls and the WOMEN ONLY EP is intended to become a recurring meeting on Critical Monday (@criticalmondayrecords).

Hoochie Coochie Papa (@hoochiecoochiepapa) is the project of DJ and producer Clesley Honorato. Passionate about disco and 80s culture, the artist is enchanted by the cosmic magic of music that synthesizers can create and he even builds some analogs in his spare time.

Founded in Uruguay in June 2018 by Imanol Castro (aka Imanol), in 2020 Panko joined the crew as curator. U ́re Guay (@ureguay), is an independent label that releases varied genres from House, Electro, Acid, Techno, and old sounds of Funk, Disco, Afrobeat, and other eclectic rhythms.

"Nube Diamante" showcases instrospective personals with peak time brushes, a piece reinterpreted via outstanding remixes from some of the hottest names among the indie dance / dark disco platforms. @chas.gracias remix is a tropical trance with latin touch, powerful bass and cowbells, then straight from Guatemala, @riveiby brings to the table a neo pop psychedelic pachanga driven by antagonic grooves. This EP also includes a remix from @ivan_delarouch , head honcho at Logical Records, a special collaboration from the Spanish artist @parissior and a bonus vocal rework from Andrea. Competently managed by the rising Brazilian artist ID ID, the Print ID label started its activities less than a year ago and so far has not disappointed the fans of Progressive and Indie cuts out there. Gueva (SXDNS292), Vasconcellos, Favio Inker, Boss, and ID ID himself are just a few examples of the artists who have already left their fingerprints on the more and more growing catalogue of the promising imprint. And coming next to bring even more clout to such catalogue, “Dark Voices”, a well-constructed two-track EP by Barcelona-based DJ and producer Breitt.  

Owner of a sonority which encompasses many of his influences, especially House Music, Techno, and Trance, Breitt has been slowly writing his story on the vibrant electronic music scene of the Comital City either with his upbeat DJ sets or frenzied productions.

And talking about frenzied productions, the track we selected to review/premiere, is definitely one of such. “My Desire” develops its gait with a fat bassline, heavy synth layers, and sinister vocals. The result is a 124-BPM beast dressed to impress at the peak time.

The acclaimed Catalan DJ and producer Esprit Divers is back with "Sanasana," the name of his latest single, which comes accompanied by three remixes, the first by Curses' Venice Arms side project and two versions made by the in-house producers Theus Mago & Moisees.

Esprit Divers, also known as Coyu, has been very active in recent months, and his most recent collaboration with his remix of Sierra Madre's "Cumbres" has been a success. Now, he returns to Duro with "Sanasana," a techno cut that features chopped vocals, revealing pads, and synthesizers that drift you away, while the rhythm keeps you in a trance state.

The first remix, made by Venice Arms, the alternate project of Curses, is forceful, aggressive, and booming. With a retro-futuristic vibe, it's full of resonant synthesizers, alarms, and lasers that take you to another dimension.

The final two remixes, made by Duro's founding artists Theus Mago and Moisees, are equally impressive. The first is a powerful, incandescent, and acid cut with techno and rave influences that make you feel like you're at a warehouse party. The "Fluffy Mix" * that closes the EP, also made by Theus Mago and Moisees, takes you on a dreamlike journey with its resonant arpeggios and sedative pads that transport you between clouds and colors.
