Goa Madness Records is a Belgian Goatrance label created during the summer 2013 by Ephedra & Kuririn, releasing fresh Goa trance coming from all horizons.
Goa Madness aims to provide various styles ranging from acidic & highly psychedelic Goa trance that will perfectly fit on every dance floor during the night, to more melodic, spiritual or euphoric Goatrance that will raises the smiles in parties during the shiny mornings.

KURIRIN [Goa Madness Recs] BE
Kuririn is Julien Daine, a Belgian DJ who started to get involved into music in his early teens.
His first contact with electronic music was @ the age of 14 when he got interested in progressive & uplifting trance. He discovered Goatrance a bit later while he went to his first party in 2003. He was immediately hooked by this style and became more & more interested by those psychedelic sounds.

After 1 year, he decided to buy some DJ equipment and started to collect some music. Since then he played at numerous parties in Belgium and abroad. His DJ sets can be filled with modern Goatrance or even old school stuff ranging from melodic to darker styles depending on the momentum.
Since 2013 he is also co-manager of Goa Madness Records with “Ephedra” and since 2017 he is also DJ'ing for Zion 604....

EPHEDRA [Goa Madness Recs] BE
Ephedra is Alexandre Cohen, a Belgian producer/ DJ born in Brussels. Alex musical trip started around 1998 when he discovered electronic music.
He began slowly to buy DJ equipment and started to play progressive trance for his own pleasure.

After some years training with the decks he got interested in many others electronic styles like techno, house, electro and began to play in small student parties.
After some time, he discovered Goa trance / psytrance while he was at a festival in Belgium. He was so impressed and directly felt in love...

His style can best be described as melodic, euphoric and sometimes acidic Goatrance with a lot of different influences. Alex is also one of the label mangers of « Goa Madness records »

MOON BEASTS [Goa Madness Recs] BE
So, what's "Moon Beasts" you ask?
Well, besides being nightmarish monstrosities living on the dark side of the Dreamlands' moon, it's also the name of a collaboration project between Alexandre Cohen (that's Ephedra), and Jerome Lesterps (a.k.a Proxeeus), respectively from Belgium & France.

They decided to join forces a couple of years ago, first by making a collaboration track (which ended up being featured on Ephedra's 3rd album), and when they were asked to perform a complete collaborative set in Portugal earlier in 2019, they decided to take things up a notch and transformed this into a full-blown music project.....

Finally, I managed to record my Anoebis set I played @ ZNA 2022! The tracklist is below... But first, let me explain why this was a very special set for me:

* Practically: because it is ZNA... Without any doubt the best goa-trance festival in the world. On top of that, this set was played on the afterparty, which highlights the future generation of goa-trance. Many Suntrippers killed the place with goa-trance made last decade, but my message was a bit different. I wanted to show to the new dj-generation you can play fantastic goa-trance tracks with mostly released music! A good dj should not only go for rarities, but for the right tracks on the right moment... And hey, its ok when there is a bit more known track in between as well if it fits! :) 

* Emotionally... After a very rough period with lots of complications with our new born son since june, we were happy he was better! We even took him to the festival during some days (no worries, we slept in a hotel far from the noise). So this set was the first time I could finally release those emotions. This resulted in (yes yes, once again) the track Elie at the very end. Since the moment our son (called Elie) was born I simply couldn't listen to that track any longer. And I knew when I was standing there: its now. Its thé divine moment. It was a very special moment between me, the wonderful mother of Elie and Elie, who was also there (far away from the dancefloor tho). And its even more magical to share this magic with everyone that was dancing. Tears of joy, release of trauma and celebration of life. That is where goa-trance is all about! <3

Victor Zolotarenko known to the world as Zolod Parasense, one of the members of the legendary Russian project Paranoic Sensations (ParaSense), a spontaneous decision Alex (Aleksey Kurkin) and Zolod write a joint track, in the future will make a huge and invaluable contribution to the development and strengthening of the Russian Psy Trance scene! Zolod - Victor Zolotarenko on the right is an ideologist and founder of the Russian Psy Trance culture, was at the origin "of the School of Psy Trance music." Already in the 98th year, Alex and Zolod play's they first overseas live, at a party in Hungary. Currently Parasense a solo project Alex, which is one of the biggest names in world Psychedelic Trance music. ...

In the mid 90s Sweden was introduced to a new type of dance music brought back from the golden beaches of Goa, India by an adventurous group of friends. Parties were held deep in the mystic forests during summer and attracted a fresh new crowd, enthusiastic for these innovative sounds. Among this crowd were two freshly graduated computer engineers who were struck with a profound fascination for this new music. 

This enchantment led to the inception of the now infamous musical unit 'Logic Bomb', formed by Jonas Pettersson and Johan Krafft, in 1998. 

Logic Bomb were set to blow up the scene in 2007 with the album Sonic Algebra.

And unfortunately on our wonderful journey we lose our divine friend Dennis Tapper. We have now finished mourning him and what we can do now is to honor him and let him live forever through the music he founded.

So, get ready to be blasted again... Prepare yourself for 2022!
The fuse is once again lit...
