oh lord so much happiness packed into a couple of minutes

kicking myself for missing this, my nap went on just a little too long. oh well I'll just have to see you enhance-trance the d-floor another time. rock on

So... like a lot of others! Have needed a good week of recuperating and compartmentalising (and finishing assignments -_- ) to process the amazing experience that was Dragon Dreaming 2018. 
While i'm not gonna talk at length about all of the things that went on before during and after, there are a couple of things that i wanna say.

I've never been that nervous for a set in my life. It has been a long journey, going from some young 20 year old dude who sees each dance floor as just another time to showcase my self expression, to someone who values incredibly the time love and effort that goes into to creating (and maintaining) the doof scene. 

Dragon Dreaming will forever hold a special place in my heart. I have grown in leaps and bounds because of it. I value the community and the festival so much, that i would probably die if i ever let the family down. I wanted to take the people on the dance floor somewhere, i wanted you all to feel something a bit special, like i always have at Dragon. 

Before my set on Sunday i was so nervous i went and threw up - i had only had like 2 beers that day after eating some brekky too - so it wasnt one of 'those' voms. This has never happened and I'm still unsure why it did. i think i had probably worked myself up about it all a bit too much. About a few songs through the set however, the smiles, the fist pumps and the booty wiggles filled me with some serious love, and i began to enjoy myself immensely. 
I almost cried at the end... my heart was and still is so full... (#inb4yourlamesammy) 
So thank you Dragon!!!!! Thanks to all those who worked so hard to make the dream a reality again. On the Sunday night, the dragon's wings were spread gloriously across the sky, ecstatic.
I wrote a few songs especially for it, none of them are finished, but i thought i would upload one of them as a work in progress - as it was played at Dragon.
