This intro sets the tone for Long Story Short, Chapter 2. It’s a moment of reflection, looking at the past, the present, and the future all at once. Over the last year, I’ve grown in ways I never imagined, mentally, spiritually, and creatively.

This track is about gratitude. Being thankful for the lessons, the struggles, the wins, and even the losses, because they all played a part in shaping who I am today. It’s about realizing how blessed I am to still be here, still breathing, still able to tell my story and share it with the world 🌎

No matter where you are in life, this song is a reminder to pause, reflect, and appreciate how far you’ve come. Glad to be here, and glad you’re here listening.🙏🏽

Seems So Simple

This track is about looking back at childhood and remembering when life felt simpler. A time when we didn’t have to worry about bills, responsibilities, or the weight of the world on our shoulders. When happiness came easy and problems felt small.

As we grow older, life gets heavier. We experience loss, heartbreak, and the pain of saying goodbye to loved ones. This song reflects on that contrast, the innocence of youth versus the realities of adulthood, and how much we wish we could return to those simpler moments, even if just for a second.

“Seems So Simple” is a reminder to hold onto those memories, because they shape us and help us get through the harder days.
