My contribution to the remix comp regarding the track by Major Lazer (Featuring Elliphant and Jovi Rockwell).

Sounds credit / Remixer's notes:

"I tried to keep the set of original sounds from the remix-pack to a limited number: there's partial vocals, reggae piano-stab (made into a rave stab in the context, har har), and a drumfill. That's about it really. I usually like to try styles that are well deviated from the norm (so to speak), but the characteristics of the vocals pretty much set this straight: had to be a song with quite a lot of energy. So why not make it raw, but in a smooth way.

Rest of the material comes not from the digital world, but from Arturia Minibrute - a modern analogue synthesizer I really wanna get into even deeper (FX, stabs, percussions are all from it), and some mostly free sample-CD's. Song also features field recording by me from Japan in 2008, where a group of local kids were performing by playing huge truck/car tires.

Audio processing has enjoyed a lot of Fabfilter's plugins, which I have bought and love a lot."
