The throat is a physical bridge between our body and mind, while its chakra governs our communication and search for truth. It’s the most powerful but also the most vulnerable of all seven chakras, and with so many of us struggling express our true needs, a blocked throat chakra is more common than a cold these days (even if the “symptoms” could feel the same).
If this chakra does not have a healthy flow, not only will your relationships with others be difficult but you will not be receiving clear guidance from your intuition. On the other hand, however, once beautifully balanced, negative experiences are transformed into wisdom and ultimately you are open to a higher level of consciousness.

Brahem was born in Halfaouine in the Medina of Tunis, Tunisia. He studied oud at Tunisia's National Conservatory of Music. In 1981, he left for Paris in search of new vistas. This enabled him to meet musicians from a variety of genres. He remained there as a composer for four years, notably for Tunisian cinema and theatre. He collaborated with Maurice Béjart for his ballet Thalassa Mare Nostrum and with Gabriel Yared as lutist for Costa Gavras’ film Hanna K..

After a period back in Tunisia in the late 1980s, when Brahem was appointed director of the Ensemble musical de la ville de Tunis, he toured in the USA and Canada and then signed with ECM Records with whom he has recorded a series of critically acclaimed albums. These include "Thimar", recorded with saxophonist John Surman and bassist Dave Holland,

In playing style, Anouar Brahem is often compared to Rabih Abou-Khalil, though his compositions tend to be more mellow and spare. Most often he utilizes an ensemble of three or four musicians. He has collaborated throughout his career and on several albums with other musicians: Tunisian percussionist Lassad Hosni and violinist Bechir Selmi and Turkish clarinetist Barbaros Erköse. He has also performed live concerts with these same ensembles.

Powers, Abilities and PersonalityEdit
As an Air Elemental, Aereon's powers and physiology are vastly different from those of other races. Although she cannot fly, she can in her own words  "glide very well." When she moves or is hit by a gust of wind, she appears to dissolve into a transparent, human-shaped mist. This insubstantially does not prevent her from being constrained however: the Lord Marshal held her prisoner by shackled with long, trailing chains bound to her wrists by manacles. Even under such circumstances, however, she carries herself with a haughty pride and confidence.

Like all Elementals, Aereon possesses an affinity for calculations, numbers and the like. She uses this calculating nature to her advantage when dealing with other races.

L'Égypte ! - Elle étalait, toute blonde d'épis,
Ses champs, bariolés comme un riche tapis,
Plaines que des plaines prolongent ;
L'eau vaste et froide au nord, au sud le sable ardent
Se disputent l'Égypte ; elle rit cependant
Entre ces deux qui la rongent 

Trois monts* bâtis par l'homme au loin perçaient les cieux
D'un triple angle de marbre, et dérobaient aux yeux
Leurs bases de cendre inondées ;
Et, de leur faîte* aigu jusqu'aux sables dorés,
Allaient s'élargissant leurs monstrueux degrés,
Faits pour des pas de six coudées*.

Un sphinx de granit rose, un dieu de marbre vert,
