Lola Lola appeared in the ever lively and creative city of Oporto in the year 2014.
After contributing to the fantastic journey of “Os Tornados”, as press mentioned at that time, “one of the most singular and nerve-racking bands to appear in the musical national panorama”, Tiago Gil (Guitar), Miguel Lourenço (Bass) e Hélder Coelho (Drums), in a perpetual need of expressing their music, kept playing and composing together as a trio, until the opportunity came to try out a partnership with João Azeredo (Baritone Saxophone), that was right away enrolled in the word of rock’n’roll music. 
Always focused, they were naturally and inevitably drove to the quest of finding the right lead singer. In this case, a female lead singer. They asked Carla Capela, well-known as DJ Just Honey, special guest at some live performances of the surf-noir band “Thee Chargers” and responsible by very wild and long nights of irresistible twist, in which the passion and the knowledge about of rock’n’roll were evident.
From this new formation, with influences e preferences inspired by rock’n’roll, 60’s beat, rhythm & blues and popcorn, the new and excitant sound of the flaming Lola Lola was created.

Earlier in 2015, they signed with the Spanish “Sleazy Records”, one of the most important independent rock’n’roll editor nowadays, promoting in June of 2015 their first single “Money in the Can”, recorded and produced by Nuno Riviera (TT Syndicate).

Lola Lola found their union for the future in their love for the past.
