Lola Olutola is a British-Nigerian singer-songwriter and poet based in South London.
Describing her sound as ‘soul meets grunge’ she is inspired by 90s alternative music and
began dreaming of performing after listening to Soundgarden’s ‘Badmotorfinger’ and being blown away by the sheer power of the lyrics and the sound.

Singers like Kurt Cobain, Layne Stayley and Chris Cornell have shown Lola that music can be a valid outlet for the pain and turmoil she has experienced and she wants others to know this too; desiring for them to feel seen and heard by her music and gain the confidence to express
themselves.

Other influences include: David Bowie, Prince, Annie Lennox, Alice In Chains, Mad Season, Nine Inch Nails, Skunk Anansie, Garbage, and Hole.

She has recently recorded two tracks Key Changes and continues to work on more music in anticipation of releasing her debut EP this year.
