My generation isn’t proud of what our leaders did after those 17 kids were killed
They seem to doubt that there’s an answer to end all the violence surrounding our kids
They wanna silence the marching crowds in Washington so they don’t have to face themselves

They don’t wanna take away your guns, they just wanna regulation 
We just want to make a difference, we don’t want no more victims
There is no harm in listening to someone other than yourself
Someone who has been on the other side of the gun
