Quite Nice Actually serves up its first Various Artists EP featuring talents like Latchmere Groove, A04F, R.U.B., ADR, Timmy P and zAr zAr. It is a slick statement of their underground house style.

Latchmere Groove opens up with a six minute electronic house workout, Revolution. It's a balmy and spaced out sound with sleek synth work, then AO4F's Interplanetary Funk is another fresh cut with neon hues and silky synths over a bouncing 90s house bassline. R.U.B. - Iluminación picks up the pace with punchy drums and bass and more perfectly cosmic vibes, whispered vocals, and serene grooves that seduce as they unfold. 

ADR (UK)'s Return is a squelchy cut laced with soft acid and snappy broken beats, which jostle through the stars. Timmy P's Overkill is a nice and punchy house track with raw drums, molten melodies and sci-fi synth designs. Last of all, zAr zAr's Mrs Jones jacks up the energy with a futuristic house cut featuring catchy melodies and plenty of alien sound designs. 

This is a standout collection of innovative house sounds.

After digging through his record collection, Dan Ghenacia of Apollonia rediscovered the rare, old-school record that had been buried for years. He began to play it out at gigs relentlessly, which sparked a frenzy of fans begging for the ID. Now we are graced with an official release that's sure to be in high demand.

Premiere: Laser 'Body Beat'

Amsterdam house label PIV Records ADE Sampler finds the label showcasing their exciting sound with four fresh cuts from label artists Ben Rau, Prunk, Chris Stussy and Bas Roos.

Man of the moment Ben Rau goes first and again shows off his slick drum programming skills with No Walls. It’s a bristling and bubbling number with woody kicks and clean hits forcing you to dance. Woozy chords and 303 licks add to the overall deepness and carry you away into the night. 

Luxury is a more upbeat house number but one with spacious cosmic vibes and fluttering snares. It’s sci-fi and soothing as well as being nice and dynamic.

Listen to Her from Chris Stussy is another fresh effort with grooving drums and synths all gliding along in smoothly seductive fashion. It’s cerebral and atmospheric and cannot fail to get you moving. 

Lastly, Nuyorican Jam is more zoned out and horizontal, with jumbled percussion and crowd noises as well as spoken word
samples all creating a nice cosy house party vibe.

This is a tasteful sampler that really shows off the classy house sound PIV is known for.

Adam Shelton & Alex Arnout kindly sent me the parts for me to do my own version of this great track. It's a real treat to be able to work with Tyree Cooper who has been a huge influence on me with his early work. 

The remix came together very quickly and was a lot of fun in the making. Bashing it out in my kitchen and living room, snapping my neck back n forth.  ...  i kept it simple so the legendary Tyree could take center stage ... Beats and bass for the body and the awesome vocal for the head. A winning formula for the clubs ... stripped down to the bare essentials, no fuss ... just aimed directly at the dancefloor. 

It's had alot of support already from a wide range of dj's  ... feedback has been immense.
