Tan amplia y potente como barroca y actual, la propuesta musical de lolo samo encuentra en el reggaetón, el rap y hip hop, los elementos para aglutinar sus raíces musicales y antecedentes culturales. Sin discriminar ninguno de sus ingredientes, sus integrantes han encontrado en la adición de ritmos y sonidos muy variados y en la mezcla de recursos digitales y electro acústicos, una manera efectiva de expresión que conserva siempre su fuerza y su calidad de música para el gozo.
Fieles a los antecedentes de su trabajo, entre los que se pueden identificar desde elementos de folklore y la poesía latinos, hasta aportaciones más recientes de rock y la enorme gama de lo afro, para Lolo Samo lo que se dice importa, y utiliza el ritmo como su principal vehículo; la rima sin restricciones, el verso en su forma más contemporánea, más viva y genuina.
Palabras y frases, cocteles de imágenes, citas rítmicas y sonoras, e incluso literarias, en un collage inesperado, rico, veloz y muy coherente.
