LOMM are Leila Watts, Owen Davey and Millie Watts.

Originating from Brighton, the group combines folk and soul, based around the vocal harmonies of two sisters. From an early age, both Leila and Millie would sing together, inspired and encouraged by their dad, lead singer of Fischer-Z. Meanwhile, ‘honorary brother’ Owen, who met Leila at college, began performing acoustic solo sets while at Falmouth University, playing open mic nights alongside the likes of Ben Howard and Tall Ships. When they decided that they needed bass to complete the dynamic, Leila taught herself on an old Hofner that belonged to her mum.

All three are creative – Owen is an award-winning illustrator, Leila is a designer, and Millie runs community music projects and classes.

Citing influences such as Arcade Fire, Bob Dylan, Joanna Newsom, José González, Laura Marling and Yann Tiersen, LOMM’s sound combines delicate vocals, intricate guitar and soft harmonies. They merge the past with the present to weave tales of nature, family & nostalgia.

In October 2014, the trio headed to The Old Wheelwrights Studio in Devon to record their debut EP.
