www.LondonSongwriters.co.uk  has been running monthly in Central London since 2009 and is a community where lyricists and composers of all abilities and ages can meet informally to share their passion for the craft. You do not have to be an accomplished performer to attend.

There is no better feeling than learning and practising new techniques to express yourself in your chosen endeavour. These 5-star-rated, facilitated, practical workshops are designed to help you do this with fun collaboration exercises and presentations on aspects of songcraft. By attending the workshops you are guaranteed to learn something new and meet potential friends and collaborators.

London Songwriters also provides an opportunity to get valuable peer feedback on your own songs, whether complete or works in progress. These can be played with an accompanying instrument or via MP3 or CD.

Occasionally we have industry guest speakers and special collective performances at festivals or charity events.

Above all, the meetups are about enjoyment and a safe space to try out your ideas in an unpressured and friendly environment.


The meetups are organised and facilitated by Murray Webster, an MMus Graduate of Bath Spa University and experienced songwriter.
