Vexento

Just something i was playing around with. It turned out better than i expected so i decided to turn it into a full track! Its still not 100% done, but this is what it'll sound like. some good old smooth, not too hard, not too fast chillout music.

Just thought i should upload a little preview so maybe i could get some feedback on the way! :D

Oh and i do not own these Vocals. I got these from a vocal pack i downloaded. I obviously edited the vocals to make them fit the track, but its not recorded or made for me at all. Just wanted to make that clear :D

Vexento - You Know (Preview / WIP)

I'm back with a new Experimental track from the EP as promised :D
I guess this is what you can call a sequel to "When I Look At You", which by the way is also in this EP. (Wont upload that one again because its already on Youtube)

There's a lot of different elements in this track, and i tried to change things up throughout the whole track. A lot of different moods. We have the sad parts, the emotional parts, the uplifting moments and the dramatic parts. It's all pretty random and very weird. Just how i like it! :D

Vexento - Yesterday On Repeat

My mind decided to take a few days break from the new album to work on this little project. It has nothing to do with the Album at all.
Feels really good doing some of that good old Vexy electro / russ! Lots of energy and what i believe is happy vibes ♥ 
Anyway, i had lots of fun making this, and i can't wait to get back to working on the new album.

This is the sixth track of The Silent Miracle. Can't believe we're already getting close to the end of this Album.. Time goes by so fast!

It's been really fun so far, and i can't wait to upload the rest of The Silent Miracle! I also have some really cool projects coming up after the album has been released. "Masked Heroes" and "The Lone Raver" are coming together as one! "Masked Raver" is probably one of the most exciting Russ / Electro tracks i've ever worked with. Vexento - Hearts In Motion

Hellooooooooooo there you amazing soul  (◠‿◠) ❤

You know.. I wanted a way to express myself in a way that didnt require me to talk or to show my face or to interact with anyone.. basically just because i was never really good at that. I've always been a mess, but thats just me and i love myself for who i am :D 
So i started the Vexento Project. To share my mind with those who might be interested, one little track at a time...
But this feeling that i'm feeling right now is a feeling that i'm not used to. I'm a bit confused and a bit scared. But i mean that in a good way. It's a good feeling. It's a beautiful feeling..  It's a feeling i never want to let go of. Some people call it love :)

I feel like this is the start of a new chapter for me. And i want this to be the longest, best, and the last chapter of my life.
I just want you to know that whatever happens to me, i'll always bring music with me. Music is a part of who i am, and that's never going to change. ❤

I've been working on a lot of different stuff lately and i can't wait to get it up here on the channel, but life's been hitting me in the face and there's a few things i have to take care of before i can get back into my smooth workflow again :P

Never Letting Go

Started working on this track on the airplane from Norway to Canada! F17 was my gate number at the airport in Norway which is why i've decided to name this track just that :D
I feel like this new chapter of my life has made a huge impact on my music. A lot more happy / upbeat stuff to come! :D

The video i used is just something i recorded with my phone. I thought it looked cool so i decided to put it as a background. I would really like to do this for every upload, but with better camera equipment of course. This is just a step in a new direction :D

Can't wait to get more music up here on the channel! so glad i get to share this musical journey with so many amazing people! Thank you so much for stopping by. (◠‿◠)

Vexento - Home

My girlfriend was recently in a car accident and has to stay in bed until she can go back to work. I thought it would be a great idea to start a new project and let her play around with it while she's recovering to make the time fly! 
Can't say I didn't help her a little bit with the project at all, but she was in charge of everything and had full control :)

She is a really big fan of Tropical / summer  music, and that really shows, haha.
She has no experience with sound design or anything like that so the sounds used in this piece were mostly just out of the box sounds / presets, obviously. But I think she nailed it! 

We both enjoyed this very much regardless of what it sounds like, haha. It was super fun and we will definitely try to do this again :D

I was watching one of Sp4zie's vlogs when i heard him play a little piece on his Piano. It got stuck in my head! I decided to try to mess around with it and this is what i came up with! It was great to finally bring back that good old Electronic style that  i used to do a lot of before! Definitely more of that coming in the future! :D

Never thought i'd finish this piece. I kind of gave up on it a long time ago, until Allison told me how much she loved it! So here it is. I'm very happy i decided to keep working on it. I love the outcome!

There will be A LOT of new music coming out soon! Got a new one ready for next week already (or the week after that) I feel more inspired now than ever and i can't wait to see what the future brings.

Devotion

I'm very comfortable when i work alone on instrumental music, and never really thought about mixing vocalists in my work. But i thought it would be a good idea to step out of my comfort zone once again and see what would happen!
As you can tell, Mixing and working with vocals is very new to me. I have worked with vocalists before, but not enough to actually understand or master all the different techniques. but then again, i dont think music has to be "Perfect" in any way, as long as we, the creators, are happy and proud of what we've created. 
Doing this is a great way for me to learn more about music itself and i'm picking up so many things that i will take with me on my musical journey.

I've been thinking a lot about Friday lately, and how I always seem to upload my music on this specific day. It made me realize how much I love Friday. I think we all do!
However... I asked myself, which day do I love the most? And Monday was my answer. No matter how bad my week or weekends is, Monday always picks me up again and gives me a fresh start. A brand new week with brand new opportunities.

Had lots of fun working on this project and this is definitely something I'll be playing in the car! I can't say I listen to a lot of my own music (Mostly because I get tired of them during the production, haha) But I think this is very chill and I can definitely see myself chilling to this.
