PREFACE

both of us think our mirror is manic.

within the years i encountered those who had feelings for one another, 
those people gave me time and space to reflect on how i feel, 
and what i should truly desire. 
the moments i sought out others for company had always been appreciated, even if the fulfillment was brief.

i could try to play it off and say i don’t care about it. 
i could also tell you that i do care but then never resolve it. 
regardless, within the lies is an internal ache. and if i were to expand on this ache for too long, these afterthoughts would result in an emotional void.

the beauty in vulnerability amongst those around you is that they themselves are aware of how to behave accordingly. nobody will clown you if it also weren’t for them empathizing with you at all.
