There goes the first song of a suite dedicated entirely on the Children of Húrin. Definitely one of the best poets the world had ever had, the wood-dweller Homer of our time. I've read The Children of Húrin a million times, and it's more exiting each time. Salve Tolkien!

Et j'ai deux fois traversé l'Achéron

I had planned to recreate the Volsung's saga in its Musical form, and it may eventually become just an episode of the whole piece. The "descent into the underworld" had been pursuing me, and eventually the whole thing just blowed up. I tried to create a synesthetic feeling in the whole, and rather an "orchestral" use of the particular voices.
