Seattle-based band Racoma crafts a front porch soundscape where indie and folk influences intertwine, evoking a casual warmth like reconnecting with an old friend. Glenn Haider’s earnest vocals are complemented by Spencer Templeman’s dynamic drum sound and Sean Collopy’s lyrical guitar. 

Each person’s element is essential, like voices in the heartfelt conversations that make up Racoma’s songs. Their collective sound radiates human connection, with emotional depth that draws listeners in to reflect long after the music fades.

For their next album, Racoma is continuing to keep things fresh by diving into something a bit different. The band partnered with fly-fishing bassist Garret Gue to record live takes directly to analog tape at Sage Arts Recording Studio, capturing a lively and melodic approach rich with spontaneity and unafraid of imperfections. The new sound is playful and looser, capturing wistful joy in a way that feels both intimate and raw.

The heartfelt, live recording brings Racoma’s energy straight to the songs, inviting listeners to feel like they’re right in the room, immersed in every story. The stripped-down process felt like the perfect way to capture the group’s latest sound that mixes old and new in a captivating and nostalgic way.

Long Tall Jefferson’s songs strike with honesty. Supported by his distinctive guitar playing, this chronicler of the human experience examines everyday life - sometimes bitingly precise, sometimes playfully painting with language.

Cloud Folk is the upcoming third album by Long Tall Jefferson. Setting a fantasy genre as focal point for the search to renew his folk sound, Cloud Folk became dazzling and deliberately vague, an album for the now with elements of trap, cloud rap, chillwave. Glittering synths, commanding beats, envelope rides, autotune, strings and strums, unexpected reverberation chambers, pads and leads and sine waves – none of this mere ornament. All is music, all is Cloud Folk.

Hitting the road with his first two albums I Want My Honey Back (2016) and Lucky Guy (2018), Long Tall Jefferson has played over 300 shows across Europe including festival highlights such as The Great Escape (UK), Eurosonic (NL), Waves Vienna (AT) or Zurich Openair (CH). A steady presence in his native country Switzerland, he played bills with the likes of Big Thief, Haley Heynderickx or Noah Gundersen. In 2017 he won a Swiss Live Talent Award as Best Emerging Artist.
